We made three finals in the same period, won two, lost one by default (sort of like potting the black, to use a pool analogy). Also made two cup finals in the same period and won them both  Just like our eight challenge cups in a row, I can see Saints record for losing five grand finals in a row standing for a very long time. Surely the odds are massively against a team bottling it so consistently |

Just pointing out consecutive appearances in finals. Wigans, 8 with 8 wins, Sts 5 with 5 loses.
Both records which are unlikely to beaten.

I know you are a mod and can dictate quite rightly on here, and I'm not gloating (I actually thought this thread was having a go somehow about SOL having a double chin - which he hasn't) but that's quite an unfortunate avatar you have at present I would have thought? |
