Made up I've paid £13 and am freezing my nuts off to watch the Ben Thaler show.

No comment to make on the game or either side because he's literally been involved in everything so far. We've been penalised in possession 3 times and we're on a combined total of 7 forward passes (more then I think I saw in superleague past year).

Listened on the wireless and we sounded dire. Really struggled it seemed to make yards despite having having all our front line props playing.

Woeful game.

Manfredi, Thornley, Dudson and Taylor went well I thought but we made some appalling errors with ball in hand. We did defend well however and that was pleasing with us having a much less experienced team then Wire.

Thaler an embarrassment for both sides. He was almost as bad as his shades!

Sam was at the game. The commentator's on Wire FM [the Wigan TV guy was bloody awful so switched to Wire] noted they saw him coming back with a couple cups of coffee just after half time.

I thought your defence, particularly on your line , was excellent this evening. Many teams would have crumbled under the weight of territory we had but you kept us out close to the line on a number of occasions.

I don't think it gives any indication of how either team will go this season. When you get your first choice props playing you should have more go forward. Our pack seemed to bully yours today and made a lot more yardage.
