| Lima's got to be challenging for a NZ test spot this year on this form.

One of those errors would have been the kick palmed back to Carmont early on, that was adjudged forward (couldn't tell from the South whether that was the right decision or not), so not really a big error. I though he had a good game.

Agreed. Lima I like Mossop but he's still learning the game.'"
He is, but he's a fantastic player already. The fact that he still has potential to improve but is already the top British prop in SL is very exciting. The big question mark is how injury prone he is.

The perils of stats. Hock effectively had a game's rest whilst playing on Monday, I'm certain as agreed by the coaching staff. Yet on Good Friday he had a magnificent game yet he made 2 errors and gave away 2 penalties, crimes for which some on here had previously classed him as a liability.

[quote="Saint77777":3t42372l]Maguire was a black mark on RL in this country. Whilst coaches like Daniel Anderson and Brian McLennan won championships on the back of exciting Rugby league, Maguire set out to win at all costs, evident by the way Danny Maguire was seriously injured and laughed at on the floor by the wigan players as he writhed in agony. Then there has been the constant bending back of limbs, trying to seriously maim the opposition. Even Phil Clarke has jumped on the bandwagon with his disgusting comments about the Danny Maguire incident.
I think its fitting that the 2 fairest teams in the comp, who have been on the receiving end of Wigans tactics should contest the Grand Final and make it a proper family day out instead of the knuckle dragging, salivating neanderthals from Wigan, that would pour into manchester on grand final day.
I for one cant wait to mingle with the Leeds fans and have a beer with them, rather than having to watch my arms and legs, should wigan have got there.[/quote:3t42372l]:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_54062.gif |

Oh I'm aware of that, that bit was a bit more tongue in cheek to the people that complain about his error/pen count.

Worrying news for the guy, to be honest, given that we have to play St Helens again this season....

If you don't bother to go to the game when you live in the locality then you are not really a fan and therefore your views are invalid. It's simple.:icons39ad_files/4821-1859san_c-msnicons.jpg |

| At times when he was walking up to the defensive line after a big run, he looked like a scruffy kid with his shorts hanging as they did... Looked really funny. I think others had "wardrobe malfunctions" too, i'm sure i saw Sams ass at one stage....

| Whilst i'd agree Lima has been immense for you this season I think Andy Lynch probably takes it for me as best prop in the league. He's been a great signing for Hull and perhaps doesn't get the credit he deserves.

| Certainly between Lynch and Lima. I don't always think stats tell the full story but when comparing the 2 it's pretty level although I'd guess Lynch has been getting through more minutes then Lima and that as well as obvious club bias is why I'd go for Lima.
Both have been excellent though and have stepped it up at a time their clubs are missing numerous props.

I think you're right about the difference in game time. Lynch in making 141m per game compared to Lima's 124m but that's while making an extra 6 carries a game. One difference is that Lima is making 8m per carry compared with Lynch's 6.5m.
While I'm on about props I think Prescott must be pushing for international selection this year. He's making nearly 100m a game with 7.5m per carry and hasn't missed a tackle yet. Also I think teams might've stopped kicking to him given the damage he does on kick off returns.

Teams kick to the same side on kick offs, usually towards the prop standing on the right hand side. In the last couple of games Prescott has been on the left, which I can't really understand as he can be devastating returning kick offs.
His kick return against Wire where he sent Atkins flying would have been the best hit up of the season had he not lost the frigging ball!!

Prescott is one of the most underrated players in superleague IMO. He should certainly be in the side for the Exiles games IMO and let's have a look how he gets on.
England need to start going away from the old guard of Morley and Peacock before long because to me them being able to play in the world cup isn't certain and other options need to be explored before then.

I understand the need to have some old experienced heads in the front row and I've never rated a prop higher than Morley throughout his career, but he's finished. Prescott in!
