i know some will miss the game ~ it happened to me once in the past due to my brother getting engaged. Its just unfortunate.

If we have won it at the Huddersfield match thats when it should be presented.

But what if we dont beat Hudds? They are in great form at the moment absolutely smashed Wakefield today - its by no means a certainty that we will beat them, we will look like right twáts if we advertise that game as us picking up the shield when its not even guaranteed.

Correct. That's the reason why it should be presented at the end of the Bradford game.

I don't feel we should make a massive song and dance about it though (ie fireworks...etc). Just let the captains raise it after the Bradford game then allow the players to perform a lap of honour with it.

So that's a second change to the date/time of the fixture now. Bit messy, and someone's going to need to do the rounds changing all the posters advertising the last couple of games we've got up around town now! Last time we had a Sunday evening kick-off was the play-off game against Cas last season, IIRC - it's not an ideal time by any means, though at least it's school holidays this time so the impact on the gate may be less.

At the start of the season who would have thought that we would be in this position. 3 games to go and six points clear , The league leaders shield all but won. I for one didnt , What a season so far it has been.Just hope we carry this on in the play offs.

Bit more recent than that - the Saints game was a 5.15pm kick off if you consider it late enough to be counted as an 'evening' game

Since we'll be in the side stand (as usual) I wonder if you'll be opening the end stand to Home supporters?

We won't need to, TBH.

I can't see a crowd of over 16k for this game.

I suspect that we'll open the North Stand anyway, but use that for its "normal" purpose of away end.
That way, we can just sell as many seats in the usual home stands as we want.

Saying that, we could do this and still leave the North Stand closed, if Hudds aren't going to bring many.
