who in their right mind would give that as a sending off?

bear in mind we are on about 50/50 decisions, thats not a 50/50 decision just the regular whinos.

Speak to Mounis and Scruton about it! there was no 50/50 about it - my only pop about this is that refs are so inconsistant - it is either a sending off or not.

some can look worse than others, and some can actually be worse, i actually think andy coley went to drive the player back, but for one reason or another, he ended up on his head



It didnt look as bad as some of the other tackles, and the play wasnt lifted horizontally, like normal spear tackles, it was an odd one for sure!

Saints move to a new ground, and the inevitable redevelopment of the South Stand at Leeds will do away with the 2 stands that put the most pressure on refs in the league and it cant come soon enough.

Did anybody else notice that Fielden put his hand under the Leeds player's head in that tackle when he was falling backwards so it didn't hit the ground? Honourable play.

I think you'll find that :

1 - The redevelopment of the South Stand at Leeds won't happen (now) until the end of the 2011 season at the earliest, from what I hear.

2 - When it does go, it will be replaced with a stand of similar size and that will be predominately STANDING .....

no doubt senior knew what he was doing yesterday, there was malice in that kick. Thought farrells sin binning was really harsh, he was committed to the challenge, perhaps the fact that he was jumping made it worse?
