At last - someone who saw the game as it was. We all can be accused of wearing blinkers at times - it is passion for our team that does it. As most of you would say if Wigan had won its a case of swings and roundabouts. Somethings went your way and somethings went our way tonight but both teams played with some passion and there has to be a loser - tonight it had to be you. |

You must have had a better view than the video ref to say that. looked like he missed it to me.
But I agree we can't complain to much..the better team won. |

Can you explain why you have a different opinion to most people?
I didn't see the ball change direction, it seemed to me Richards PLANNED to miss the ball. Otherwise he wouldn't have had his arms so wide apart. |

It would have been a superb performance had we not give the ball away too much. As you say solid performance but the best team won. I didnt think Ganson was too bad to be honest... |

The ball is coming down end first, it did all the way from the top of its flight. Richards went up for it and it grazed his arm at roughly the elbow/right forearm, it is only a slight contact, but the ball goes from being point down at that point to turn in the air and ends up landing on its side.
I think you are giving PR way too much credit to say he planned to miss it. Watch the flight of the ball, it is direct until it passes though his arms at which point it changes in flight. |
