Do you watch the Reserves? I assume you don't cos you'd quickly realise there's it provides the right level of competition for the likes of the above. Roberts needs time to adjust, Riddell is not fully fit (in that he's picked up a niggle), Phelps is better than Reserve grade and Mathers is not in Academy grade. |

Seriously I'm not doubting Riddell & Roberts are bad players. But they turned up towards the end of pre season for one thing and another and they are obviously struggling to acclimatise, put them in the reserves allow them to adjust that way. Not really been impressed with Phelps @ centre I think he is more of a wing man, but now we have have seen the likes of Pryce & Ainscough (if fit), he would struggle getting a game, especially if Roberts is going to play out on the wing as well. As for Mathers, don't really know what to say about the guy TBH. The injuries he had in oz must have really messed with his head cause the guy is gash. |
