| A cas fan on their board said he has a 'terrible attitude' which made me smile. He's got so many good points but above all his indivudual skills his attitude is by far the best thing about him and the major reason i think we can all sit here and be very confident he'll go on and become a top top player.
He hates losing, he won't let anybody bully him and he gives every single thing he does his all.
He's a winner.

I kept the faith and I kept voting
Not for the iron fist but for the helping hand
For theirs is a land with a wall around it
And mine is a faith in my fellow man
Theirs is a land of hope and glory
Mine is the green field and the factory floor
Theirs are the skies all dark with bombers
And mine is the peace we knew

| He's a great lad - down to earth, funny with loads of time and patience with the kids. He's ran the wigan summer camps before now, and is a regular having a kick about with the kids at St. Pats.
I think we can all be confidant that this mass hysteria about his "attitude is completely down to envy so bollox to the lot em, the sad pathetic know nowts.

The lad looks like he lives for Rugby League. I remember at times last season when he was water carrier for the first team and he looked pumped up just for doing that job! He's be bombing around with the kicking tee and in the warm up before the games would be kicking the ball around like a 10 year old kid would do in his back yard.
His attitdue is immense.
I'm so excited that we've got a kid like this at our club and that England has got a kid like this coming through.

| We couldnt have imagined how well he has stepped up to first grade He loves rugby and wigan. Hope he continues to improve. Once he gets stronger I expect to see alot more tries like his 3rd last night, the combination of his step, speed and a improved hand-off would be devestating
I also cant understand why other teams fans hate him, jealousy?
Hope he doesnt get picked for the 4Nations though, a full break then a full preseason will help him, Wigan before England.

He stopped loving Warrington when he was about 4, as most people with any sense would.

The thing i loved about that try was the confidence he had to go on the inside of the fullback. When you make a break like that 99% of the time players would just go on the outside and try and burn the fullback off but Tomkins has the confidence in his own ability to go back on the inside in the knowledge that he'll beat the man one on one and give his kicker an easy 2 points.
Superb stuff.

| The fact journeymen thugs like Sergeant aren't putting him off his game is why opposition fans "hate" Sam. That coupled with the fact they are scared to death that he will lead Wigan back to the top of the tree.

Anybody who has watched Sam over the last four or five years will have seen him score dozens of tries like that at academy and reserve level.
His pace, balance and step (particularly off his left foot) are a joy to watch.
Long may it continue, in a Wigan, England and GB shirt.

| It's great to have a player again that is hated by the opposition. Sure sign of a goodun. HIs last try last night shows why for me he should be a 7. He's a good 6 but as first receiver I think he could be even more dangerous.

It's preformences like last night from him especially but also Prescott, Mossop(outside of a daft penalty) and Flanagan(although we may have to wait a couple of years) that makes you confident we can have a big year next year even without any new signings.
Add in the likes of McIlorum and O'Carroll when they're back aswell as the guys just at the back of them like Ainscough and Davies and things look pretty rosy.
I just hope we run with them and give them time and patience.

Something my brother pointed out to me was the fact that he played on the left last night when usually he plays on the right, and on the evidence of last night the left seems to suit him far more, which did he play in the reserves Rogues left or right?
