I stand by saying that I think BOTH of our teams are a cut above the rest of the league at the moment. Im very confident in what our starting 13 can achieve, with the obvious weakness that is the left wing spot. However, your strength in depth is a good level above us, so a bit of luck could definitely play a part in how it all goes this year.
I think our defence has for the most part, continued to look outstanding. I thought we looked very good against Huddersfield, and I thought we looked pretty good against Salford too and were cruising against a very in form team up until the sending off. Salford are playing well anyway, but they're so good at moving the ball and they did a fantastic job of taking advantage of the numbers and fair play to them. They knackered us out and reaped the rewards. Before the sending off, we'd conceded 14 points in 3 and a half games of rugby. I'm baffled by anybody saying we look finished.

I would agree wholeheartedly with you but I can’t as this is a Wigan v Saints debate and therefore we are bound to disagree. I think we are in for a treat on Good Friday if the weather is kind. |

Redvee is full of toothless simpletons. They all just blindly think that St Helen’s are still the best team in SL when it’s clear to see they are a top 6 maybe top 4. Anyone who dares criticise on that forum is mocked.

It's got the makings of an absolute belter of a game. I'm gutted we blew that last week against Salford as I genuinely wanted both teams to be going into GF unbeaten. Would've been a great marketing tool as well. I'm sure when the time comes, last week's defeat won't count for anything anyway.
It's an old cliche but I hope neither teams comes unstuck with silly bans over the next couple of weeks and we can both go at it full tilt on Good Friday. With a guaranteed sell out now it's going to be one hell of an atmosphere too. |
