I can't help but feel it'll come down to which utility back to keep out of Pryce and Phelps at the end of the season and looking at today it simply has to be Phelps.

He was very good again and the one thing he has above Pryce is his sheer will to play and enjoy the game.

Phelps is doing well, apart from his shocking mistake against Celtic for their first try.

He or Pryce aren't a concern at this stage, lets see how they've progressed at the end of the season.

Danny Brough is being touted around as being available for the right money, could he be the answer to our problems at 7 next year if Smith is not retained?

He certainly has a bit of the Sean Long attitude and style about him and a good kicking game and pace, would not be too gutted if he made a move.

Brough is a good little player i agree but we've got a few 'good' players in our squad already-Carmont, Gleeson, Richards, Piggy, Hock, Lockers, Tommy, Feka & Coley

We've also got a few good youngsters 2-Ainscough, Prescott, Tomkins x2, Mossop & Farrell

What we don't have tho is any truly world class players in the squad like we had in with Trent.

Next season we need to get a world class HB and Prop into our squad by any means necessary.
