poor performance by the sounds of it and it sounded like Hunslet was gutsy in the 2nd half.

Just got back.

They did enough and no more. It was won by half-time, so I had a feeling they were under orders to take it easy in the second period.

Long spells of Hunslet on our line was a bit frustrating for the fans, even if we did hold them out.

Games like that remind me there are several players in our second string who I don't think will find a permanent home in the first team.

One or two of your posts on this thread have been a touch disrespectful of the Challenge Cup and a bunch of blokes who have turned up knowing they were going to get a hiding - but put an effort in for the pride of their club and travelling fans.

just being truthful, no doubt Hunslet work their socks off to be where they are but how does today help them? Challenge cup has past its usefulness. swap it with a 2 weekend 9's tournament.
