Whilst winning against Stains was debateable, there is no doubt that we need to be winning our games from now on.

Also don't forget if we lose friday we get another chance but Latics are home that week and Sky have pencilled in fri and sat for the games to be played, so it's looking like the Leigh Sporting Village.

I was one of the people who wanted us to lose on Friday,but we must beat Catalan because if we lose and so do Warrington saints get club call and it will be 100% certain that if us and Warrington are in semi(last chance) we are going to be playing each other and saints get the easier game

Sky moved our game to the Sunday last year to allow for the stadium situation, so I'd have been hoping for that to be the case again, if it came to it.

Losing on Friday would give Catalan a guaranteed home semi-final and, if we were to then win our Week Two game, whether it's Wire or Saints with Clubcall, they'd surely choose to avoid playing us - leaving us with a trip to France in Week Three. I don't imagine anyone would consider that to be the easy route, and even if we won out there, it would hardly make for ideal Old Trafford preparation.

It wont be any if we do what we should and win on Friday, saying that, im not 100% confident in this team in any form of "big game" as of late.

We have to win on Friday - we have to guarantee a home game in the Major Semi and retain the option of selecting who we play. We have to continue with the good work that started in the last quarter at Hull KR. Admittedly we lost last week but no one can field 12 men against a top 4 side for 65 minutes and hope to win. Apart from the result everything else was good and we even looked good without McLorum. I for one won't miss him - the positives he brings seem to be negated by the negatives - so there is no argument in my mind for having three games before the GF just so that he can play. In knockout football the team that makes the fewest errors and keeps its discipline tends to win. It would just be one extra game that we could lose. And we need to win to continue to build momentum - fragile as that momentum might be just now.

I stand by what I said. If we hadn't beat Les Cats we would have got to the final, with Micky Mac and Tomkins available and all. We had the option of an easy route to Old Trafford but didn't take it. The above comments show a lot of you really disrespected Leeds as well.

Looking at that I agree, but hindsight is a wonderful thing and you can't do anything but got out to win all the games you get in the playoffs. If anything it simply highlights the flaws with the current format.
