| Wondering if anyone has 2 spare tickets for the Sunday this weekend? I'm aiming this at season ticket holders really, I'm aware there are still tickets available, but my friend refuses to pay the £45 ticket price when really only interested in seeing the Wigan v Saints game, so any season ticket holders who got the half price tickets and have 2 spare, please PM

If they're just not being opened because the rest of that 'reserved' tier isn't sold out yet then it's plain daft. I admire the RFL's efforts to get a good atmosphere going by only selling both the bottom 2 tiers but when people are being told they need to buy weekend tickets now to watch the games on sunday it seems a little strange!
Why not just open up some unreserved sections in that middle tier if they're available and get more tickets sent out to the clubs? Maybe they're doing that but nothing would suprise me.'"
I was told to wait to purchase reserved tickets from Wigan, as they had sold out, until Wednesday. I bought some yesterday and they arrived today and the tickets are for block 237, which is one of the greyed out areas on the Rugby League tickets website.
That means these tickets aren't available to people through the website, only through Wigan so unless anyone else has bought them I'll be sitting on my own

| Speaking of long shots, I'm looking for two unreserved tickets for Sunday. We couldn't make it until tonight.

| It should really have been Wire/Wigan the last game on Sunday. As it's the premier fixture in our sport now and would have shifted more tickets.

You may well get a fair few of these off some fans, but to be honest, I'd tend to agree. The balance of power has started to shift over the past 18 months or so to the point were Wire are becoming our biggest rivals more so than saints.
Still think it's ridiculous that you'll get an easy 2 pts against Widnes, while we'll have to slog it out against saints again

I don't agree with the "premier fixture" bit and I guess you have said that a bit tongue-in-cheek to get a reaction, but the fairest way to do the magic weekend if the RFL is to continue with it is to base it on the previous year's final league table (1v2, 3v4 etc).
This year's fixtures would have been:
Warrington v Wigan
St Helens v Huddersfield
Leeds v Catalans
Hull KR v Hull FC
Castleford v Bradford
Salford v London
Wakefield v Widnes
Overall much better quality games IMO and also a much more fair way of playing an extra fixture.

In that set of fixtures, it's difficult to call any one of those games. The situation we have now is that we know Wire will give Widnes a pasting, Catalan will stuff London, Hudds will tonk Salford and Leeds will probably beat Bradford. Only 3 out of the 7 games are tough to call. Even then, I have a sneaking suspicion we will beat Saints, Cas will beat Wakey and FC will beat KR

| Question about tickets...
What box on peoples tickets do season ticket holding adults have left uncrossed?
All our adult tickets for the day on sunday have 'regular concession' left uncrossed and not 'season ticket adult'. They're both the same price at 15 quid but have Wigan (or the RFL...whoevers crossed these with a black marker pen) screwed our tickets up here?
