You know what, I'm getting a little ticked off with it all at the minute.

Last season, Warrington fan kicked the hell out of one of my mates all because of a comment made against said Warrington fan getting in the faces of smaller, female Wigan fans.

Last week, fracas in the pub before the Bradford game, followed by an alleged fracas leading up to that man being taken away in an ambulance.

This week, this incident with the "Brigantes", followed by another fight right in front of me in a pub in Wigan. I won't mention the pub's name, because I happen to like going in there.

In another thread on the VT, people having a go at some alleged trouble involving Hull KR fans.

Getting sick of people kicking off all the bloody time. Why can't we just go and watch some Rugby?

I spent Sunday wishing I could have gone to the game - family commitments prevented me from attending.

Now I'm glad I didn't. You expect a level of oor behaviour from the fans of certain clubs and Cas has never been a particularly friendly place to visit, but if even Wigan are now having significant problems with idiots of our own then the game has got a real issue with "fan" behaviour.

It's not good to see decent Wigan supporters bickering amongst themselves as to the extent of the problem on this board. Things are obviously not right.

What next, riots at the next Wigan - Saints game? I despair at times for the future of RL, I really do.

What is the point of these moronic chants anyway? Do those that join in think that they are better Wigan fans because of it? Because you support a club (or a county, or a country) it doesn't follow that you have to "hate" another club/county/country.
Do people know the meaning of the word "hate?" This is sport FFS!
Like Robinson above, I'm also getting sick of the idiots that don't seem to be able to enjoy the rugby without kicking off in some way.
Perhaps one of those who joins in the anti Yorkshire/Leeds (or anti-anything) chants could explain to the rest of us what they hope to achieve and why they do it?

Well done Binks - we could do without idiots like this at our games. I was stood in the middle of Princess Street so only saw the commotion and have no idea what happened.

Whilst this is embarassing, it's probably necessary to apologise for the team rolling over and not offering the opposition many fans would've wanted. I can't remember a drubbing like that from Wigan in a long time. That was a ruthless performance by the Warriors against a shamefully toothless effort from the Tigers. Cracking turn out from the Cherry 'n' Whites too.

The song he is claiming to be sung yesterday doesn't even fit into any tune that I can think of.

what got me is that the cas fan was talking to the stewards just before he lashed out. He was up at the top, pointing at the wigan fans and was obviously not happy with something they'd said. but then the fan literally went straight from talking to the stewards to walking down the steps, in front of the wigan fans and then punching the lad. and then after a ticking off by a steward he threw another punch at another lad. I'm sure if they hadnt been behind the barriers they could have been two pretty nasty swings. stewards should have kicked him out straight away, or at least have moved him from the area. keeping him cooped up right next to them did not help the problem at all.
Although I for one am not surprised he took offence as singing songs about beating wives and being yorkshire barstewards isnt very nice when there were a load of very young cas fans stood infront of them. However this is not an excuse to be throwing punches at teenagers.

no racists chants were sung,the only chants were the anti yorkshire song and cas is a sh hole i wanna go home,nothing too major in that ive heared far worse elsewhere.

i do tend to think cas fans get a very raw deal has any chants cas fans make tends to end up in the press has it did after the salford game.the only gripe id have would be with the blody drum "id have them all banned from grounds" but thats just my opinion.the vast majority of wigan and castleford fans were well behaved and stood side by side,its a shame we couldnt have made more of a game of it but tbh you were simply too big, too fast and too good for us on the day.

Malicious lies, if THAT had been chanted I can assure you a lot of Wiganer's would of been having serious words with the people that were signing it. I was stood near the young'uns and THAT was certainly not chanted!

On the way out I did hear Cas fan's grumbling at the stewards for their serious lack of effort to stop Sloth from the Goonies attempting to hit the merry little drummer boy

Just cleaned up the inflammatory lie and the responses to it. Lets not go down that route again please while we consider which appendage to cut off the offender.

Dont know about that but he wore a blue checkered shirt over his cas shirt.
