As owners of the ground they can do what they want. PL rules also state in a fixture clash, Latics must take preference.

Prior to them being in the PL, we have played Friday and they have played Saturday 3pm. So its the PL not Latics that don't want Wigan playing there on the Friday. Why didn't they just move their game to the Sunday???

Hope it's the lowest league crowd of the season and I think it's about time the fans showed their disapproval of the way they are treated. The club have been aware of the situation for five weeks and have continued to deny any date swap. They cannot put the blame on anyone else for this and have shown a total disrespect to anyone who has made arrangements to attend the game. This is the first time I have felt aggrieved by IL running of the club but I will cut off my nose to spite my face and will not be attending this match.

The stadium needs turning around. If a concert was booked for the Friday, it would have to move. Simple as that.

From a Wigan RL pov, renting the ground is a good thing as IL has said on many occasions. This is the small price we have to pay but I'd rather move a game than have to fork out to repair any damage to the stadium, update systems etc etc.



Oh - and I'd consider a name change if I was you. Not really a 'true wiganer' at all are you? If you were you'd support you're town in every possible aspect be it rugby, football or tiddlywinks.
