You can find trouble at any game if you go looking for it.

Why do we always go looking for negatives in our games?

Police escort?

Only joking - like most clubs there's only a small minority of Warrington fans who cause trouble.

I'm sure you'll be fine

Maybe you attract it?

The OP has been a bell in the past of stuff about us so cba putting this up but if anyone wants the route away from the away end which doesn't mean going through town centre past pubs etc its this.

Left out of away end out of Dallam lane onto Tanners lane, keep going right until onto Froghall lane you then reach traffic lights, go straight down onto Crosfieds street, keep going down into Parker street and Bank Quay is at the end on the corner.

I'd avoid the town centre as the pubs around central station are quite rough.

If I were you, I'd head towards the three pigeons pub at the end of dallam lane and make a sharpish right, follow the road around, cross the carriageway, then through another set of lights and this road will bring you out at bank quay station.

Other than that you're looking at going the long way around by heading to winwick road and to the cockhedge centre and working your way round.

I doubt there will be trouble there on Saturday, the amount of Police that will be at the game and in Town Centre after the game, you will probably get the odd idiot who will start to cause trouble.

As for Directions from the Ground to Bank Quay Station well it's probably the same distance from Wigan NW to the DW Stadium.

I'm not really good with Directions so I can't help you icon_wink.gif

Just go round the back of the away stand through past the industrial park at the end of that road is a big car park or A pub on the opposite corner depending which of the two parallel roads you end up on turn right and follow that road to bank quay (you'll go through a tunnel and over a big junction) if you go that way then you avoid the town centre and all the pubs. You'll find that's where any trouble will be with people who pretend to be wire fans who "can't afford to go" but have spent money on a skinfull in the pub and watched on tv instead real fans do not tend to cause trouble. Anyway yes that's the safest route in my eyes just be careful crossing the aforementioned junction.

Never had any more problems at Wire than any other ground. Had a drink in Warrington after the game on several occasions and usually have had a good laugh with the fans icon_confused.gif

Having just spend the weekend in London being surrounded by Warrington fans, there was not one bit of trouble and plenty of good banter. Every team has there trouble makers and i do feel sorry for the genuine Warrington fans (99.9% of them) who get branded by some as trouble makers.

Central Station is on there at the top, The stadium is further above.

I know where it is but it isnt on that map and that is where the op probably has the problem having previous knowledge requirements means a map is usually unhelpful.

Theyre also after Bank Quay station which is down at the bottom left.

This is also proof a wire fan will literally argue anything even when wrong!
