To be honest i'd say we're both (Cas & Catalan) about the same this year. We beat them by 2 points at their place and they beat us by 2 points at our place. We finished just above them in the table with just 2 points between us.

Wigan v Cas should be a good close game. Wigan have to be favourites, but we've won at the JJB/DW etc. once this year so it could go either way.



I'm just glad that it's not at home for us as if it was then i'd say it was a nailed on Wigan win!

Our away form has been great though, so you never know.

Oh and our performance against Celtic this week was absolutely awful. I was convinced that we were actually trying our best to throw the game to get Wakey in the playoffs instead

Phelps tried but was poor IMO, McIlorum was the one who made most impact I thought, Flanagan didn't play badly either. Didn't notice Gleeson, O'Loughlin, Leuluai or Carmont really.

And the less said about Pryce, the better.

Pryce didn't play that badly either, there were far more worst players out there then him today.

Also Phelps effort and passion was there but things just didnt come off for him today. You could see how annoyed with himself he was by his reaction at the end.

Really looking forward to this one should be a great atmosphere and i would expect a lot of fans will be making the journey from Castleford.

I can't see how anyone thinks whoever wins will go out in the next round, after all this is play-off rugby and anything can happen. I think we HAVE to stop Sam this time around because last time we played you he just ripped us to shreads.

Our away record is nothing short of brilliant this year and we also seem to play well on the bigger pitches and the pitch at your place is one of the biggest (if not the biggest ?) in super league.

Anyway all there is left to say is lets hope for a great game and.....

I wish all my assertions went so smoothly

. I agree the effort was there as always and there are a lot of people who should be picked on before him. I'm still one of the few who are unconvinced about him at full back though, I think he panics when a player breaks the line, and often gets wrong footed leaving him in no man's land. He's great in attack but I can't remember him making any big defensive plays, which is odd for a full back to say the least. Having said that the position's focus does seem to be moving away from defense orientated to kick return/attack orientated, particularly looking at the likes of today's Billy Slater compared with yesterday's Kris Radlinski.
