| My main hope for the Wigan-Leeds rivalry is that it stays parked in the club shirts over the autumn. On form, I would expect more Wigan players than Leeds in the 4 nations squad, but at the very least I think Sinfield, Peacock and Hall will be there, and we really desperately need a united England squad.
As enjoyable as the Saints v Leeds rivalry was in the 2007-2009 period, it didn't do the national team much good.

Not wanting to detract from what is a riveting thread.
But Peacock shouldn't be in the Four Nations squad. Plenty of other players have performed better than he has this season. Then again with McNamara in charge I fully expect Peacock to be there alongside a half blind Morley.

I wouldn't take Peacock tbh. Still a very good prop but I think we have seen props this season in better form than Peacock who would be itching to have a go e.g. Lee Mossop. I would take Burrow because we seen from Saturday how he can influence a game.
One person I would definitely leave out is Danny McGuire. Not mainly down to the fact of his RL ability, but more down to the fact we don't want him disrupting the camp. After just watching the game back for the 1st time the way this lad reacted on Saturday was disgraceful. For the last ten minutes he had lost it. Slapping Charnley in the face after Ryan Hall's try. Swinging out at Tommy at the very end before going back to look for more and attempting to headbutt Tommy after the final whistle. Very unprofessional, and yes Leeds fans can comment about Sam Tomkins, but that has been dealt with.
I was going to start my own thread about this, but we all know where it would of went I'm just surprised nothing about Danny McGuire has been mentioned at all?

I wouldn't take Danny Mags purely because his form hasn't been up to it this year. At the end of the game emotions were running high and he got a bit of after-tackle treatment at the end that was a bit unnuecessary, but meh, big daft lads and all that.
Peacock should still go, not just because he's still one of the best forwards in Super League, but also because of his leadership qualities. He still does big things at big moments in matches, which is not something you can find a statistic to quantify. Particularly given that I fear for Morley's fitness, I think Peacock's presence as pack leader is crucial. No objection to the likes of Mossop being included though.
There are a few players in the Wigan side who are very high on confidence and feel-good at the moment, and if that stays the same then I'd pick them regardless of their age. In 2004 GB failed to pick enough (and this isn't bias, honestly, I forget club loyalty at international time) of the Leeds side that had swept all before them, and I think that was a mistake. Some of the young English lads in the current Wigan side are flying at the moment and will have no fear in them, so I'm all for using that momentum this autumn. I'm thinking mainly of both the Tomkinseseseses and Charnley, as well as O'Loughlin, who is a no-brainer. But no reason that shouldn't also include the likes of Mossop. I don't watch Wigan that often, but Farrell has looked a very promising player at times when I've seen him too, is he worth a shout for at least the squad?

| You need at least one experienced old head in that squad, the Oz have always had one, even if there was a player slightly better about. You need someone the whole team look up to and someone the team can look to when the chips are down.

| One of Morley and Peacock should be left out of the England squad IMO if both are fit. We need experience but we also need to look to the future and by playing both were holding somebody back (Probably Mossop).
As it stands Morley looks unlikely to be fit so for now Peacock would gain a place in my squad to help look after the youngsters (of which there should be plenty).
As for Wigan players I believe should be in a 23/24 man squad I'd have Sam and Joel Tomkins, O'Loughlin, Charnley and Mossop with Prescott coming very close to selection. If I was to look at the Leeds players I'd include it would be Peacock, Hall and Jones Bishop with Watkins close to selection (he may just need another 12 months).

I'd pick him apart in any boxing ring. Make it happen.

Of course you would.
Back to internationals, the logical approach is to stack out the team with the English qualified players from Wigan and Warrington, and teams like Leeds, Saints, Bulls etc will just make up the numbers. Peacock probably hasn't earned a jersey as he has been injured most of the season, but I think he will get a shout due to Morley being crocked.

Not everyone in the world are armchair-fans, some of us actually engage in the sports we watch and love - I've grown up training and fighting with kids who are now pros in both MMA and Boxing. A good friend of mine, used to kickbox with him, is the most well-known British UFC fighter in the world, I think you know the guy.
I'd take Bailey in most fighting disciplines - the man can't even throw a real punch!

I'd beat him in a drawing match, easy. Got GCSE in art plus an OND and HND in illustration. I'd make a fool of him.
And while he's at it, he can bring Neil Buchanan along to. I'll take him apart with my left hand tied behind my back*
* I'm right handed.
