| Quote: Deano G "He's probably embarrassed. It took a while I think for the Hopoate assaults to come to light - the victims don't really want to talk about this in public.
The RFL should step in, this is bringing the game into disrepute.'"
Hock should do the decent thing and keep it on the field afterall Jon Wilkin would never tell tales would he? Surely not.

| Neither deserved bans and the fact they were even cited shows how diluted the game has become. There was less than a second between robys pass and the hit and it only looked bad when sky used the slow motion replay (it was certainly no worse than what hooper used to get away with for saints) As for mickys tackle as soon as you pick someone up by the legs their weight is going to go forward, was just a really hard solid tackle.

| I wonder if sean long ever got banned for throwing the ball into the wigan end? I wonder if lee smith ever recieved a ban for jumping into the wigan crowd a couple of years back?
It actually wouldn't surprise me with how incompetent the RFL are if they actually fined and/or banned hock.

Charnley and Makinson will need to be disciplined as well for kicking the ball into the crowd after a try.

| You cant compare Hock's to Turners. Turner didnt even throw it in the crowd, he through it in the air and to his own fans - Hock's was incitement and could have caused trouble.
I remember a few years ago - Simon Finnegan scored against us for Salford, he threw the ball into the Hull fans and actually broke someones nose, the police questioned him after the game

I am suprised that no one has mentioned Lima, after scoring his try the Sky cameras panned on him and he was smiling; not the kind of smile one would expect from a player scoring in a derby game. I will contact Red Hall. This sought of behaviour needs to be stamped out, there could have been a riot, sunami, earthquake, car crash, burnt supper, fire, petrol shortage, frogs from the sky!!!
I believe that Richard Lewis left due to the unsporting behavior of the Wigan team and fans. This is surely a low point for RL.

Maybe the Cas fan questioned his sexuality?

Lima is definitely on thin ice and this may be the last straw where a lot of British fans are concerned. Remember, over in Yorkshire they had a gallows ready for him because, when spoken to at Wembley, he wasn't quite sure who Lance Todd was.

| I'm surprised Sam didn't get a ban last season for throwing the ball into the empty North Stand...

I Just did, a ball thrown into the crowd is a ball thrown into the crowd however way you look at it, people in the crowd are always at risk of getting hit by a ball from conversions etc. Did you see the guy that got hit by the Brough kick on SL show yesterday, I'm sure he was worse off than whoever Hock hit with the ball, should Brough be in trouble for unnecessarily kicking the ball in the crowd?
It was silly of Hock to throw the ball into the crowd anybody can see that but he's not the first to do it and more is being made of it because it is Gaz Hock.

| I think the team should adopt " high fives " after scoring a try because the fans like giving " high fives ", infact we did it quite a lot on Friday unless the players will be hauled before the RFL for incitement towards Staines.

I would prefer if the captain and leadership group appologised to the opposition and offered them some constructive opinions on how they might improve their defence to prevent this awful try scoring happening again. Other options inc
Any player that knocks on -immediately informing the ref
Forward passes - stop play and appologise
Other team scores - all players to applaud politely
Running towards opposition - all players to say "excuse me" to the opposition
Being tackled- the player to jump up from the floor and loudly pronounce "well done that man" to the opposition
Tackling opposition - all players to move politely to one side and say "after you" to their opponent
Oppostion player sin binned or sent off - Coach to remove one of our players so that no "advantage" can be taken
No advantage to be accepeted - The ball and an apology gven to other team
Going forward we will only accept a "moral victory" nothing can be gained from the needless baiting of rival players and fans.
