| This weekend could work well for Gelling. All im looking for is some solid defence from him. Im sure in time he will grow into a good centre. I just hope he doesn't get the back lash if he doesn't perform.
Should be an Interesting read come the end of the game win or lose.

| After looking at some of the footage of the Huddersfield game our defence needs work. Its Hock who cold be the game breaker for me in attack running at their backs. But this is organised by the halves.
Its only the second game but its a tough start.

| Watched Gelling against the Huddersfield friendly and he deserved MOM for me, ran hard and tackled hard deserves centre spot in place of Carmonts injury.

| The general consensus on the Leeds board is that barring injuries we will line up something like this:
Webb
BJB Watkins Hardaker Hall
Sinfield McGuire
Bailey McShane Peacock
Delaney JJB
Ablett
Burrow, Griffin, Kylie, Hauraki
We have a few knocks but nothing too serious as no one has been ruled out yet.

| When Roberts was playing well everyone said that he had the 'X' factor. I feel that other Wigan players with the 'X' factor are Sam, Pat and Hock. These are followed by the good professionals...O'Loughlin, Finch, Carmont, Leuluai etc.
However, I think Leeds have quite a few 'X' factor players. These are Webb, Hall, Watkins, Sinfield, McGuire, Burrow and Peacock. Their back up players such as JJB and Ablett do an excellent job.
We will have to play exceptionally well to beat them on Saturday. Let's hope they have the World Club Challenge on their minds.

| We looked a hell of a lot better on sunday lining up with O'Loughlin at 6 and Leuluai at 9, if farrell wasn't banned I would have played him at loose and let lockers start at 6 freeing up leuluai to start at 9. I think I would give Powell a game.
1. Sam Tomkins
2. Josh Charnley
3. Darrell Goulding
4. Anthony Gelling
5. Pat Richards
6. Brett Finch
7. Sam Powell
8. Epalahame Lauaki
9. Tommy Leuluai
10. Lee Mossop
11. Harrison Hansen
12. Gareth Hock
13. Sean O'Loughlin
14. Ben Flower
15. Jeff Lima
16. Mike McIllorum
17. Chris Tuson

| What's the general consensus with the Wigan fans on this game, do you think you will win? I think it will be incredibly close like last season, so could go either way on the day really.

If we play like we did vs huddersfield you will beat us by 20. Other than that its hard to tell. Not seen you play yet this year and not seen us perform well yet this year.

| This games gonna be a cracker IMO as there's clearly no love lost between them in recent seasons
The result of this game won't determine who wins the GF in october, but it will certainly let both sides know that this season is now up and running

| I wasn't confident last week because a side written off through injuries is always a dangerous beast especially when it boasts class acts like Brough, Cudjoe, Robinson, Crabtree etc and a bench of Patrick, Walker, Lawrence and Lunt wasn't too shabby either.
This week I think we'll get our season going. We shouldn't forget we're a good side and as long as the application is good we'll be in with a good shot.

| You can never tell with Wigan vs Leeds until on the day. Form goes out of the window. Im not confident at the moment but if we play like we can do theres no reason we cant win.

Webb and McGuire had the x factor now they are good pros. Peacock's x is fading fast. I would say that (T) Leluai certainly has it. Watkins may have it but it's a little early to tell.
Keep your head up, after all we've won 3 trophies in 2 seasons.
