 That was london broncos, which cost us the first super league title - Well that and a dodgy decision by the VR to give saints a try a few weeks later at London that should have never had been given

Your players will know that winning means you hit the top and they will need no other incentive than that.

I expect your lot to win comfortably, we have 4 players to come back but saving them for Sunday, plus Hudson and Orr are out through niggling injuries, add that to the 5/6 or so injuries we have already.
Don't get me wrong im making no excuses nor do i want us to be hammered, but if it gets us a win on Sunday against the Bulls then we'll be happy.

Thats exactly why the Challenge cup should never be knocked in comparison to the Superleague title.
In the Challenge cup you cant pick and choose your performances and play for losses one week in the hope of a win the following week.
That thinking by the Cas club will allow Wigan to go top of the league and make inroads into the points difference tally. if that happened in the Cup Castleford quite rightly would take no further part in the competition.... |

Well he's not exactly saying we're going to lose and get thrashed on purpose. Even if we do lose, I do hope someone at the club realises that Points difference might be a topic for us to focus on too.
30 start is a lot, I'd hope the players for us realise they're better then that, I don't for a second expect us to win but i do hope we give everything. |
