He was. He was in the autograph Gazebo from around half 2. I'd say maybe 700 or so people were there. Good turn out. The weather did hold out until halfway through the match too!

| I was there all day (from about 10.30M ish anyway) and I would say at a guess probably about 2,500 turned up throughout the day, which considering the poor start to the day that probably put a lot of famillies off wasn't a bad turn out. Good constant fan pressence through the day.
I didn't see Bailey either tbh?!?

| I went today and took my son and the missus and we had a good day.. We enjoyed meeting the players and although there is room for improvement (in terms of things to do for the kids really) I think it should be done yearly.
I would like to thank Joel, sam, lockers and phelps who were all happy to pose for photos of me and my son and certainly made my day(my sons a bit too young to know what was going on) He burst out crying when Max said hello to him!!!.. I think all of those above and others are a true credit to the club. I think its great that we have two fans forums a year and a family event like this to meet the players.. I somewhat feel we are a "club" rather than just supporters who go and watch a rugby team.. I love that my passion for the club is enhanced even more by being able to speak to the stars who I watch every week and also the availability to ask any pressing questions to the owner and chairman of our club and an incite into the future plans for the club( which was never evident with the previous administration).
I also stayed for the reserves, which was great to see so many fans stop to watch.. I have been a few times this year to the reserves and there is certainly a reason to be optimistic with the quality of some of the yougsters coming through... In youth we trust!! Nice to see all three wigan teams beat the wires this weekend... Come'on Wigan!!

Read in the Evening posy Yesterday that Noble and a couple of players were playing in a charity crickey match in Yourkshire yesterday so he probably had to rush off there.
It sounded like a good event and you can't knock Lenagan and Higan for things like this. They may not do 'everything' to the liking of all the fans but in the main the clubs being run very well.

| It was a good effort but I think it could have been better advertised. I didn't have a clue about it till mid last week although I was told others did so maybe I'm just blind!

| Did anyone notice the badonkadonk on one of the blonde cheerleaders? Could have rested your pint on top of that thing.

| Noble nearly took the front end off our car when he was driving out eating a butty,he looked like he was in a rush.I wasn't that impressed with the event .It reminded me of that Phoenix nights episode when they had the bouncy castle with the big penis on it.All that was missing was Jerry the berry.
I don't want to get into an argument about it ,this is my opinion. It wont stop me supporting anything else that the club does. This just didn't do it for me.

| That description "ala phoenix nights" was spot on.
You would have to keep your head very far up the clubs back passage to think it was anything other than very poor.
Better than nothing but poor none the less.
I mean come on.
there was a hand full of stalls - two of which where road kill burger vans.
another was a yellow tent containing a tv and nothing else really that was appanrently goign to encourage me into recycling... and lets be honest nothing much else.
When they advertised a mini fair surely no one expected ONE ride ???
Yes there were the players there to sign stuff and have their photo's etc but for people to make out things like Stu Fielden using a hoola hoop was the high light be honest it shows that it was not really all that good was it.
******
Being fair I suppose not having all the space down there that they used to makes these things a bit harder to do but with that bit more effort and a bit more professional approach rather than Brian Potter seeming to have put it together and next years event could be really good.
Surely the money that would be needed could easily be found by just having one of those mobile bars set up for the day?
