It's a measure of your ambitions if your happy to only lose by 7 points.
Wigan made some brain farts last night regarding when they had the ball.
They were average at best, Saints didn't have to do much to crack the defence and as soon as Wigan took the lead, Saints had the ascendancy straight away.
It smacks me of poor captaining and you needed a cool head to win that game.

the issue is that everyone with half a brain cell knows we are guarenteed to play worse than that this year, but everyone is unsure about whether we will play better.
Until we play like that for 5-6 weeks running - we have no hope of coming close to anything
Finish 6th due to a late surge as usual

Put it this way.That was the worst performance of the season from saints and they still had enough gears to grind out a result.
If saints had been playing anyone apart from yourselves ,salford and celtic they might have been beaten.
Too many saints players looked knackered and the leeds game must have taken hell of a lot out of them.
Sorry but wigans best performance wasn't good enough to beat saints worst..That must be a little worrying for you wiganers. |

They weren't tired in defence and that's where tiredness shows. Don't believe everything Stevo says. They haven't played as many games as Wigan and through Wigan not generally playing an expansive game, each game has been close and tiring. |
