My own personal view is that its a lack of confidence when he was at Leeds he wasn,t that bad the injuries that he got in Aus have took a lot out of his game maybe a loan spell may help him get his confidence back somewhere where he is not under as much pressure as he is at Wigan

I just don't think he's a full back. Apparently he's being playing really well for the reserves.... at stand off.

No, i think he will find his level tbh.

Remember his first game for Wigan, against Widnes he seemed to have a great game. For me thats his level.

I think with less pressure and a lower level of opponent he could do well in the Championship. It wouldn't surprise me if someone like Widnes came in for him at the end of the year.

I think Mathers is just a massive pile of turd, no point beating around the bush hes cack and not what we need. See if he can do a job for anyone else and save us some money.

Get Radlinski to mentor him for a few weeks, I said that weeks ago!

If he doesnt improve in the reserves with Rads mentoring him, loan him out on a week to week basis training with us but playing for say Oldham, Widnes, Leigh etc and see if he improves and if he doesn't, get rid.

I really think he can come good, even though he has been dog turd since he arrived.

I think it's the pressure of playing for Wigan thats done him.

I think it's his general lack of talent and ability.

I can see him at Wakefield next season and wit John Kear as his coach and no pressure on him he will be great, its just he playing dog cack for us, I do really think there is a good player in there somewhere and its Nobbys job to get it out!

I feel sorry for Mathers. You don't generally get NRL clubs interested in you if you're no good. Unfortunately for him he suffered two bad injuries, which have possibly ruined his career.

I think it was more good work by his agent rather than Gold Coast chasing him.
