"I've got one word for you Mr Chairman - Penalty Count"
I've got one word for you all......Steve Hanley
Some Salford fan said to me and I quote "You are by far and away the most Handsome & Knowledgeable Rugby League Fan in England!"
I thanked him and went on my Merry way!
RIVERCAVE DWELLER OF THE YEAR 2015!
"The club used you last night and didn't tell the truth."
Officially one of the 119 Mugs used by the club:icons077e_files/5454-3678dentheman-msnicons.jpg |

| Quote: The_Enforcer "Well you know now. What have ypu got to say 'great genius'? The group you and others threw your weight behind and attacked me for cautioning the club over supporting have now been shown to be marxists, anti-semitic, want to abolish the police, threatened to burn their country to the ground literally. Even the BBC have come out and banned reporters from wearing BLM badges, Labour leader has even tried to distance himself somewhat. Dont you think the Wigan club should come out and distance themselves from such a group or are you too ashamed to admit i was correct and you were wrong as usual?'"
You are absolutely clueless!!!!
Ignore 20 other points where your wrong, and focus on a point where you know what, your wrong!
I did not throw my Weight behind the BLM UK group, in FACT I defended the club for promoting the LBGTQ movement
As far as I am aware the club haven't made ANY comments about BLM???
You and you alone said " I will not give my money to a club that inserts itself into non RL related social issues"
The only issue Wigan have made any kind of statement about is LBGTQ
So are you
1/not giving money to Wigan because you don't agree with them supporting LBGTQ?
Or
2/ Are you not giving any money to Wigan because of BLM UK - Which just to clarify they haven't yet said or done anything to support
If it's 1 then ok, but it's ridiculous
If it's 2 then ok, whatever, your not giving money to our club because of something they haven't done or said???
Let's get this straight
I'm all in favour of the club supporting the LGBTQ message - if a group of people who are from that world attach themselves to that group or form another group that uses the same message to then promote other issues such as Murder is ok, Drink Driving is ok or anything else that is abhorrent then I will not support that group, But I will support the LGBTQ Message
If the Club on restart wear the BLM message I will support them, If they donate 100k to BLM UK I won't support that, but I will still support the message.
Now I appreciate there is a whole different more nuanced conversation to be had which you seem to be incapable of having- And over on the Sin Bin there are very many different arguments & Debates being had (Which I notice your not part of).
But the original statement was :- "Im sorry but over recent times i have seen the club take a direction i do not like. I will not give my money to a club that inserts itself into non RL related social issues and i know a lot of people that feel the same way and are disgusted. I support Wigan to watch them play rugby league not to have the latest social trends forced down my throat."
So what "Social Trend" have the club shoved down your throat? and was any of that anything to do with the BLM "Message"?
As I originally said, your argument IMO is more about having a pop at IFL etc. for any reason, even when they haven't done what your suggesting.

| Quote: The_Enforcer "Who came up with the slogan Black Lives Matter and made it mainstream? Thats right, the group Black Lives Matter. The slogan and the group are one and the same, they go hand in hand with each other. Why do you think that many of the sports teams and brands are now having to come out and try to distance themselves from the group?
If a sports team or major brand posted 'Britain First' on their social media page the day after Brexit they would be immediately condemned because of the slogans links to the group Britain First and you know it.
BLM must be laughing their heads off at the amount of major brands that they got to promote them.'"
The FA are a classic example of jumping on the bandwagon with clubs ordered to have the BLM slogan on the back of shirts when eight months ago, clubs were told that they had not to put poppies on shirts as it was political.
Sheer hypocrisy on the part of the FA.
ALL LIVES MATTER IRRESPECTIVE OF COLOUR, RACE OR RELIGION.

| It was FIFA. PL clubs have always worn poppies and some players are able to choose not to as per their right.
International sides are not allowed to wear one.

Black lives matter isn't political though. It has nothing to do with BLMUK.

Not correct
Not correct
Yes, coorect, but just as "Save the children" or "Help the aged" doesnt mean that the other one doesnt matter, or wearing a badge in support of the fight against prostate cancer doesnt mean you want other cancers to continue, the message of Black Lives Matter doesnt mean sod everyone else.
BTW
The shirt tribute was proposed by a group of Premier League captains and Professional Footballers’ Association representatives, with moves under way to ensure kit is prepared appropriately. One club told the Guardian their kit staff had been primed to order shirts reflecting that change.
And I'm led to believe the players were also behind it.
And also
This week the Premier League confirmed it would not be bringing in the Rooney Rule, requiring at least one BAME candidate to be interviewed for a coaching vacancy.
The Brighton manager, Graham Potter, says the situation surrounding opportunities for black and other minority coaches must nonetheless be addressed.
“With football, you want it to be meritocratic, you want it to be the best person gets the job, and that’s what we all think it should be,” he said. “But the realities of the historical situation, for whatever reason, [are] that hasn’t been able to happen and we have to understand why that is. Why is it a disadvantage to be black in this country? Why are there not enough coaches and managers that are black in football? We have to understand the historical context and educate ourselves around that in order to understand today and the context we face now.”
Good on Graham Potter

No. BLMUK is political. Saying that Black Lives Matter is NOT political nor is it connected to BLMUK.

Have you got links to that evidence?
“We do not now, nor have we ever, endorsed or affiliated with the Democratic Party, or with any party,” the Black Lives Matter network said in a response posted to its Facebook page on Sunday. “The Democratic Party, like the Republican and all political parties, have historically attempted to control or contain black people’s efforts to liberate ourselves. True change requires real struggle, and that struggle will be in the streets and led by the people, not by a political party.”
Once again I am not defending the political movement (BLMUK) just the message.
