Thats because people prefer to ridicule than see the bigger picture  . I know we agreed to it at beginning as did everybody else. I just feel there is better ways to decide the champions. Lets be honest we wouldnt of won it no matter what the system is so thats not the matter in hand here. |

I will assume you are merely having a bad day instead of being quite simply, dense.
Beating a team, when it matters, at the key time of the season (which all teams are focused upon) clearly indicates that they are better. Especially given Saints handed you your battys twice in the Play-Off's. Similarly for Leeds to beat Hull, Huddersfield and Warrington in successive weeks indicates they are better than said teams. It's not astro physics given the smart clubs/players will peak at the right time.
But then you know that.
Does your wine taste as sour as your other grapes?

Beating a team once doesnt make them better imo so we will have to agree to disagree as its getting boring now
As ive said we wouldnt of won no matter what the system so its hardly sour grapes. I just think the system could be better. |

Christ, this is getting tired. Apparently we are alone in having just about every player aiming to injure every opposition player on every tackle. Tackle round the chest/shoulders? High shot aimed at injury. Tackle round the legs? Aiming at hyper extension to cause injury. Grabbing the ball carrying arm to stop an offload? Attempted chicken-wing to cause injury.
Watch any match, with any team, and you'll see all of the above, but never mind that, Wigan are evil.

Good to see, what could be a good debate is being destroyed by trolls who simply want a whinge because they think the thread is having a go at their teams being in the GF this year.
As a side note, I haven't seen a single Wigan fan say that Wigan deserved to be there this year.

Every team knows the system at the start of the season, no excuses from me, I dont agree with the system but everybody knows thats how it is. The 2 teams in the final deserve to be in the final, end of story and fair play to them.
