It's simply Willie Peters doing an Alex Ferguson style pressing of a ref. The hope will be that Lewis continues to get away with his antics and the refs focus on his targets. I see people liken him to Jake Connor but he's the polar opposite in terms of the result because unlike Connor, he is great at getting the decisions to go his way.
Wigan players need to be told to simply look through him when he starts and to get stuck in to him (legally) when he has the ball. |

Think the best way to get stuck in to him is when we are attacking get Nsemba running at him make him defend bigger bodys |

The club has posted pictures of Willie Isa running on the Brick pitch. Not sure what that means in terms of timescales but it's good to see him back looking healthy. It's always felt like they've kept timescales hush hush in the hope he may pull of a comeback this season. Getting a place in the 17 may be another matter.

The main thing is just to see the guy running about again but if there is any chance of him making some games, I wouldn't be surprised to see him get a bench spot. I do think it would have to be in advance of the play offs though (probably for the last regular round fixture) and I'd say it's an extremely long shot. I do wonder if he may play on next year with him losing this season. |
