| Manly 1987 has to be my all time favourite especially given that only a few years earlier the Wigan club was at its lowest level ever in Division 2!. The resurgence to 2010 and maybe 2011 as WCC winners following the near disaster in 2007 feels very similar.
However, I also remember, as a 9 year old with my Dad, watching Wigan beating the Australian national touring side at Central Park in Oct 1967. What a night that was! The kop end was a sea of cherry and white flags wihch I guess was a result of fans accumulating them during a decade of trips to Wembley. Sadly my Dad died two years before I was able to share the Manly moment with him and so 1968 was special. Little did I know at the time that Wigan were about to enter a decade of decline resulting in relagation and that it would be the last major moment in Wigan's history that I would share with my dad. The moral of the story is, enjoy the good moments when come along as though its your last.

| my favourite moment has to be that comeback at bradford in 2007, i didn't actually go to the game but i have great memories of watching this with my grandad in his living room, jumping up and down like right mad heads when richards knocked that drop goal over!

| Quote: Odemwingie "Bradford 2007 is a favourite for the numbers we took and how nuts we went at the full time whistle. Never seen anything like that even at a final!!!
2010 GF was special because we had not won it for 12 years.
2002 Murrayfield!'"
I'd have to agree with that, all I remember from the end of it is going absolutely ape $hit when Hape knocked on. For me, that was one of the first 'I was there' games I went to.

| I was only 7 at the time, but I can remember the 94 Brisbane game. Having the day off and watching it with my mate before watching it again with my Dad when he got home from work.

| Wembley 1965 v Hunslet, first time I saw us win the CC.
Wembley 1985 v Hull, 20 year wait finally over.
Manly 1987, again making history.
Wembley 1989 v St Helens, does it get better than 'nilling' Saints at Wembley.
Grand Final 1998 v Leeds, first winner's yet again.
Grand Final 2010 v St Helens, a day I'll never forget.

| 1983 JPS Final -couldn't believe we'd actually won something,( i started to watch Wigan when they was in the 2nd div)
1984 York c.c semi - had sleepless nights the week leading upto it i was only 15 at the time, felt sick before the game but the elation knowing that we was going to wembley was something that i will never forget.
1985 Hull cc final - Unbelievable day
1987 Manly - got on the ground at 4pm and there were 20,000 on then, still is the best atmosphere i've ever been in, the hairs are standing up even now as i think about it.
1989 Saints cc final - nothing needs ot be said about this, the greatest and most satisfying day ever.
There have been lots more since then but the above are my top five and sum up for me just exactly what it means to support the mighty Wigan

| June 1st 1994. Wigan's greatest ever win. Winning the WCC against Brisbane in their own back yard. A feat never to be repeated by an English club.

| 3 games stick in my mind
1985 CC- fantastic game of RL, skill on display and tension to the end. Also made up for the previous year and the journey back home.
1987 Manly - The atmosphere was electric. I was playing rugby the same evening and all I could think of was "I wish this game was over", the build up was awesome.
There was one CC Semi Final at Old Trafford. I can't actually remember who it was against (Stains I think) and we scored right at the end (was it Goodway or Hanley?). Tbh the surge from the crowd was such that all I knew is that we had scored.
Horrible to lose in a semi, but to win in that way was fantastic.

It was saints. Hanley passed to Goodway with a minute to go.
