Fair play to you for your travelling, I've done it myself watching Wigan and my football team too and as you say you've never left a game early probably for the same reason I haven't/ don't. If you've travelled all that way there and have got to travel all that way back does an extra ten minutes to get to the motorway really matter? After all, you'll probably make that time up one on the motorway. Added to that most fans probably aren't actually going that far just makes it all a bit daft to me.

Yeah I completely agree with you. I wont leave a game early purely because I've paid the money and made the effort to get there so why should I leave early. No matter what the result I will stay to the end.
But at the the end of the day, the fans still pay their money to watch us, so if they want to leave early then thats up to them, its just not how I do it.

| right i may upset a few people with what i have to say but i dont care.
what has it got to do with anyone else when people decide to leave? i have been watching wigan 10 years now and been a season ticket for the last 5 as well as going to about 75% of away games.
i was one of those who left when quins went in for their last try, and i left because i was devastated that the game was lost. why do those who stayed think they are so much better than the ones who left??? what did you or the team gain from it??
now it is the first time i have left early since i can remember but it wasnt because i wanted to it was because i couldnt sit there with the hurt of watching my team lose a game they should of won!!
i will never ever boo wigan because i think that is wrong, we are supporters and if i feel that i can not sit there any longer an support my team it is my right to leave, other people maybe able to put a brave face on but i cant!!!

| I don't really know why its called the Wigan walk cos all it happens at most games.
Nor do I understand why people get riled about it. You pay your money and stay as long or short as you want. People have reasons for leaving when do they do and I'm sure they are good reasons to them. Just chill.

icons077e_files/5445-3661prettyflower-msnicons.jpg Parry Gordon's passes,Les Boyd's strong runs,Mike Gregory's workrate,Des Drummond's tries,Jonathan Davies' sheer genius...........oh,and Alan Rathbone's punches! All memories of the legendary venue which was Wilderspool stadium. Gone maybe,but never,ever forgotten.

23997_1287161421.jpg
Great game of rugby league. Fantastic atmosphere, Wigan were breathtaking and dominant in all areas for the first 25 minutes, coupled with us making alot of dumb mistakes, then fortunately they brought McIlorum on which helped us back into the game. I thought some of the tries we scored to get us within two we're out of this world stuff. Towards the end we had to force it a little and we had a few things go wrong, i.e Monas kick on the first for King and Solomona going off who was causing havoc. Wigan were clinical in their eventual execution of us. Proud of Wire today and gave us a little glimpse to the future. Silverwood was awful as per, but I expect no less. Tomkins is a world class player and by far the best english player in SL. Wigan are a champion side and would be a worthy winner of taking our title as challenge cup. Good luck over the next month and a bit.
:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_23997.jpg |

| The booin crap is pathetic. Cheer and lift them and see how better they play then ..... maybe all the booers should have a go at a group of us standing behind them while they do whatever job the do and have us critisising and booing them, maybe then they could understand how offputting it is and if their work starts to suffer.
Being the optomist NEVER leave a game before the end they may score 5 in the last 10 mins and maybe we should all start to chant and cheer them instead of booing and see if they start to lift their game.
On a lighter note maybe supporters should be issued with tags for the game that gives them an electric shock if they leave early lol

to be fair afew people who were booing were also talking the p^ss during the minute's silence and singing "send him back"( aimed at ainscough) when quins scored there first try.these are the chavs at the back of the south stand so i wouldnt even consider there booing relevant.

Superb, how we have never won club of the year given our marketing/community work is beyond me.

| Great turn out last night, but the chap I was sat next to, also a season ticket holder said tickets were on sale for £3, is that the reason the chavs were there chanting, is that the reason for the excess numbers, is that the reason I should consider not buying a season ticket next year and hope the over all cost of entry may be cheaper? I think £10 is a better price as the chavs will have to sacrafice 3 pints to go the game instead of 1, and it's still very good value?
