| Why are the Leeds "fans" so quick to jump on our board and tell us we won't win anything? As far as I can see, us Wigan fans our just happy with the improvement from last year, and are enjoying watching the team. Tonight is two more points!

Where were you backing your team when you needed it?
That's right, nowhere to be seen.
Just admit it, you're cacking it that Wigan are on their way up!
Enjoy Bradford next Thusday, I love a good bottom of the table clash once in a while.

Mate I'm a Saints fan and even I think your making a fool of yourself. As much as it pains me to say it Wigan have looked the most impressive team I've seen so far this year and that's concerning for next week for us. There is no way we will Hammer them, I fancy us to win but it's a game that could go either way. As for leeds coming back and F****** them I also Highly doubt that, traditionally the games are very close. So far Wigan seem to be a team to be respected and will go well this season MM seems to be doing a good job sadly!

| Tonight we were awful by our own standards but we still won by 20 points. We can and will get better without doubt. Leeds fans before the match saying we have peaked to early
Leeds were same as their support, poor.

You seem to have a pretty narrow minded view about what backing a team is.
First of all armchair supporters are just as important as the ones in stadiums if they have a radio, TV or Sky Subscription box. The sky subscription box in particular pumps some money into the game. Money that wouldn’t be pumped if the likes of myself didn’t sit at home and watch. The deal for the 2009, 2010 and 2011 seasons are worth in excess of £50 million.
So please stop treating stay at home fans as some inferior kind because we’re not.
Secondly a majority of people on these boards have at least contributed to half a dozen games through the good times and bad times. I was a season ticket holder in some pretty dire seasons at Leeds as I’m sure some people were from southstander.
Finally I demand that you show more respect to any fan of the game. It is a minority sport and we need all the fans that we can get. Your opinions could drive people out of the game one day.

What a load of drivel. Somebody who gets off their behind and goes to the match and supports his/her team will always get more respect than an armchair fan and rightly so. Players thrive on good support not people sat at home in their rocking chairs.

My thoughts entirely
Also watching it on sky puts nowhere near as much into the game as paying for a seat, £20 ticket or maybe 1p max to each club for every armchair supporter
Full stadiums also have a good impression on new supporters, and makes the atmosphere better for the people watching from the stands

| Quote: Damo-Leeds "I shall be going to games when I want to again whenever Leeds are a good or a bad team at the time.
Players thrive on their wages provided by fans from all avenues of income to that club.
What MattyB has is a mob mentality where you associate yourselves with likeminded fans who think the only support worth respecting is physical attendance at a game.
I can picture him and his mob popping round to an old peoples retirement complex full of Wigan fans who can no longer make it to a game. Shaming them all till their last breath on the deathbed all because they listen to the games on the radio.'"
You sound like a very bitter old man.
Shall we all sit at home and watch it on tv with a silent atmosphere then? Do you think sky would still show that?

| Good result, awful game. I would like to see us using dummy runners and players running from deep like we saw at the start of the season. We were back to the Noble style tonight, flat, clueless and predictable. If we play like that next Friday we won't win.
