Think you might be onto something here.
Doing all those 10 metre shuffle runs might the reason people like BJ Mather, Henry Paul, Robinson, Farrell and Big Les all got into the England team after a couple of games of RU. |

As opposed to standing around waiting for the line-outs and scrums to form.... Love when union fans talk about the "Stop-start" nature of RL as opposed to the "stop-stop-start-stop-stop" nature of yawnion |

Personally i think it is a great story and I think he will be an asset to the Crusaders, he is a real natural athlete but fast tough, good footwork.
I do not think his age is too much of a concern, he will not let anyone down, least of all himself.

Completely baffles me as well that. The number of yawnion lovers that go on about the play the ball being stop start is ridiculous. Their game is permanent stop, never seen it start. |

It will be intresting to see if he goes well will he be selected to play for wales in the 4 nations qualifliers in oct/nov hope he does go well would be good for the game.

Enjoyed the interview with him, he seems bang up for it and also very aware of what he is up against.
I agree with him as well regarding coming over sooner. I think he will go well in his time in our code but had he crossed codes 8 years ago he would have been an absolute sensation.

It's good for SL in Wales IMO.
Regardless of peoples opinions of RU Thomas has been a great player over a significant period of time. He's always been the model pro never afraid 2 stand up and be a leader.
He's a real Welshman for a start and also a Welsh sporting legend meaning it will give the Welsh public someone 2 get behind and relate with.

It's the lack of first choice HB's IMO. When they played us they struggled for direction and they are missing Bosc big time. |
