Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

Is it a case of greed? Or is it it more a case of Sam running a long the face of the opposition defense with no other Wigan players offering themselves up to run off him, forcing him to go it alone.

This is probably more accurate. Back rowers running angles would suit Sam more, causes confusion with the opposition defence meaning either a well timed pass or a widened gap for him to duck through and break clear. |

That the thing though, there are a lot of so-called fans who have ruined players on here by their constant criticism.
Very, very rarely do I rip into players on here after a poor performance. IMO if a player shows effort and desire then that is all we can ask for. Sometimes it will come off for them and sometimes it will not.
Of course he will have a bad game, in fact I expect him to have a few. It’s all part of the learning curve. But mark my words, I will not be joining in on any player slating unless it lack of effort as opposed to things not clicking for him.
And what’s all this "believe me" rubbish. Are you involved in SL coaching? Or are you (like me) just a fan? If it is the latter then you are no more qualified to speak than any other tom, dick or harry on here.
Look I aint trying to start a fight, I am just sick to death of the constant criticism of players on this site
as a previous poster has already said, why cant we be optomistic for a change??

He'll learn all the moves, and he'll learn the art of not being predictable. That's what makes him such an exciting player. I hesitate from using the term 'prospect' as he's already proved that.

Sam is still finding his feet in the big time, I personally wouldn`t say he is greedy he likes to run with the ball you cannot knock him for that.

I despair, I really do. We've got a young lad who is as big a talent as we've had in years with the potential to become a Wigan RL legend in time and we have people picking holes in his game at the age of 20.
Perhaps you think Christ could have fed 6,000 if he'd sliced the bread a bit thinner!
