Plenty of small town mentality on here.'"
To be fair, you probably didn't receive the kind of medical care and rehab Tommy will. I think people want him back so he can go out with a bang, not because they feel the team will fall apart without him. He's always put it in when he's played and everyone loves him for it.

It's his tibia ("outer leg bone", as it says on the official site), not his ankle, but fairly close, I guess...

Spot on, my body is a wreck (though I've still got the looks & charisma) due to a complete lack of suitable medical care. Warming up used to involve throwing up in the bogs followed by touching your toes a couple of times, warming down - a gallon & a curry.
It would be terrible if he left the country without a proper send off after what he has given the game. he will be back as NZ hooker for a number of years to haunt us I have no doubt.

| Get well soon, would be very sad if that was then end of him in a Wigan shirt.
One of my favourite ever Wigan players (vomit), love the way he approaches the game.

I've always been reasonable, it has just taken a bit of success to chill you lot out so you can notice it

If you don't bother to go to the game when you live in the locality then you are not really a fan and therefore your views are invalid. It's simple.:icons39ad_files/4821-1859san_c-msnicons.jpg |

23997_1287161421.jpg
Great game of rugby league. Fantastic atmosphere, Wigan were breathtaking and dominant in all areas for the first 25 minutes, coupled with us making alot of dumb mistakes, then fortunately they brought McIlorum on which helped us back into the game. I thought some of the tries we scored to get us within two we're out of this world stuff. Towards the end we had to force it a little and we had a few things go wrong, i.e Monas kick on the first for King and Solomona going off who was causing havoc. Wigan were clinical in their eventual execution of us. Proud of Wire today and gave us a little glimpse to the future. Silverwood was awful as per, but I expect no less. Tomkins is a world class player and by far the best english player in SL. Wigan are a champion side and would be a worthy winner of taking our title as challenge cup. Good luck over the next month and a bit.
:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_23997.jpg |

| It's going to take 6 weeks for the break to heal maybe longer if it doesn't stitch right then you got to get ligaments right 8 weeks will not happen your looking 10-12 but all depends how his body reacts different times for different people

| Tommys a tough little bugger. He may not be 100% come the cup final(if we get there) but if he has any chance of playing he will and then try and rest for another spell before entering the play offs (probably late missing the couple of weeks).
That's my guess how it'll play out. Wigan played Ben Cross way ahead of schedule with a leg break (iirc) and it wasn't like he was anything but an extra body to put on the bench.

Aye it was thinking on.
Arms or legs though they're both reasonably important in rugby and if Tommy can possibly get his body out on the field come the cup final or play offs he'll play with a bit of pain IMO.
Above all the chat about how we'll get on and who could replace him the most important thing is Leuluai himself having the opportunity to finish at Wigan on his terms.
A true legend.

I'm sorry but if it's a chance of having Tommy for the cup final or the playoffs i'd choose the latter if a player is not right they wont get played and rightly so

They'll definitely need to manage it right.
If it's not fully healed come Wembley (again if we get there) then he can't play but my point is if he's healed but has to play with some discomfort(stiffness or due to a lack of miles) then he'll want to do it and I think we'll let him.
If it's literally still broke then he's obviously no chance.
He deserves some luck.
