Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal.
Big tall strong running second rower, like a McMeekin or Sironen type back rower.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_20333.gif |

| I still say Sundays are best for rugby league games, home and away. Once you’re in a routine more fans will come. I hate Friday games when they’re not on Sky, I don’t see the point in them. People used to say there was no atmosphere on Sunday games, there’s no atmosphere on Friday games any more so that argument is null and void.
With Sunday games we get to use Robin Park as a way of entertaining fans and generating more money for the club and you can’t do it to the same effect on a Friday, you don’t have the time. How many here used to like watching the academy games as curtain raisers in years gone by? We haven’t been able to do that since 1999, now we can, just next door to the DW.
Whilst there’s a reserves/19s game on, there’s a band playing inside in the bar, there’s a kids section with Mighty Max and players doing little coaching sessions etc

| Sunday Afternoon was always the best day when we played at Central Park, which unlike around "Whelans Folly", there were plenty of pubs and clubs which helped to create a proper pre match and match atmosphere.
Sadly, those days are gone!

Correct, but how many of them are loyal and true supporters of a club and not just bandwagon jumpers when they get into a higher division and then disappear when relegated back into a lower division.
A example has been in our own town with the Latic's and more recently at Huddersfield and Hull.
And what about the many who after paying for a expensive ticket, leave in droves if their team is losing by more than one goal.
We may not have as many supporters in the 21-25 group, but what we do have is a more loyal and true support than in football.

| If we want to attract younger supporters a good place to start would be to stop playing that awful ‘Chelsea Dagger’ when we score.
Absolute cringe.
Time has moved on, it was awful at the time and still is.
Bring in Clint Boon to overall the music.

If you mean around our part of the world, its because the local services have been run by Northern (Arriva) who from tomorrow will no longer have the franchise as it has been taken off them by the Rail Regulator for running trains late or not at all.
We live in hope that things will improve under the new operator.

Nah, have Gareth Brooks, miles better. Heard him a few times at City before European matches aswell as when he used to be on Xfm Manchester.
Also, they need a compare. City have Mike McClean who was on Nickelodeon back in the early 90s and he’s really funny.
Now some idiot will point out that ‘we are not football’ and ‘we don’t have city’s money’. All you need to do is find some local comedian who’s been around he block ideally a Wigan fan and get them to take the mic before games to keep people entertained with whatever’s competitions they want to do before a game and at half time.
