| congratulations to Rangi on winning the MOS award 2011, to add to his AG award and dream team selection
(he must be doing something right?)
also well done to Roby and Tomkins for their nominations , all 3 are fantastic talents and had great seasons ,
Robey and Tomkins are fortunate to play in fantastic squads , Rangi's not so fortunate at the moment
A bit sad that a lot of fans can't put rivalries aside and give some credit where its due

| Let's leave the Sam issue to one side for the moment,
Most Wiganers would rate Roby ahead of Chase (hint for the stupid - I'm not saying Wigan fans are the best judges....). Chase is a very good player but Roby has been absolutely superb this season.
I think this year's results show that the players need some help with their selection... what an embarrassment.

I'm happy to credit him with being a very good player, he's had a great season. Glad he's in the England squad.

16304_1526976105.jpg [size=100:2md8k3b3][b:2md8k3b3]'Do you remember when we had that meeting in Orlando? We talked about how we were knocked out the previous year by Leeds. And at the end, I asked you one question. "Do you want to be a semi-final team? Or do you want to do something special?" You all said you wanted to win. But talking is easy – it needed you to believe. It needed you to work hard – harder than you had – and make sacrifices. You did all that. you worked for each other. You stuck together when it was tough. And because of your efforts, you sit here tonight as champions. I'm proud of you. Be proud of yourselves. You've done something special.'

| Schofield has chipped in with a 'rumour'.

More muck-raking from Mr Bitter. You'd think he'd have gotten over not being wanted by 'The Greatest Team in the World™' all those years ago by now.

Apparently people say he's a really nice guy... but either way, the crap he comes out with on twitter is beyond a joke at times. Certainly doesn't do himself any favours.
Had this been about any other club he wouldn't even be putting it on his twitter page

apologies, I didnt realise youve obviously personally asked most wiganers then ??
I think this year's results show that the players need some help with their selection... what an embarrassment.
In the same way that referees and linesmen need help to make decisions at wigan?
Seriously , so you think the players arent capable of voting for their own favourite player of the year ?
Maybe next years MOS voting should only be open to season tkt holders at the JJDJWJDBJB stadium ?

Hey, I'm not saying it's his fault, I haven't got an issue with Rangi. Good luck to him. I'll definitely be cheering him on if he plays for England.
The MoS process is the issue, not Rangi.
For the millionth time, he's a very good player who's had a great season.
Cas fans have every right to be very proud of him and every SL club would want him in their side.

Yes, they are capable of voting. Voting with intelligence? It appears not. Unless it's just a popularity contest.
If the MoS is just a popularity contest then fine. That's what many people seem to be saying. I think that's disappointing, but if that's the case then at least we know where we stand. Sam Tomkins could produce an even better season in 2012, it doesn't matter, because he's never going to win.

| If we promise Slater, Cronk and Smith the MOS award next year, do you think they'll play for England?

| Im slightly confused as to why our board is full of Cas fans, have they sunk into that bad of a depressive mess having not won a trophy for so many years that they are now celebrating the Man of Steel? Jesus it must be tough at the bottom, thank god for Maurice Lindsay.

| There is no doubting Sam is a fantastic talent but even the most pie-eyed of you could see how he gets on peoples wick( a la Mcgoldrick with us) However for what its worth i actually do think Roby should have won it, thats not to say i don't think Rangi has been immense for us because he has, but for me "man of steel" describes roby to a tee this season.
Ah well on to the 4 nations, at least the england fans have 2 players to boo now
