And here's me thinking that once you acknowledged that once a player has been paid-up he is removed from the salary cap calculation and therefore does not count on the salary cap, are you now saying again that termination payments count on the salary cap?

I've been saying it all along. Jebus.

But they don't. The cap is calculated based upon the first tier players "at that time" hence why it is referred to as a "live cap".

When a player is removed from either the club's first or second tier any payments made to them, either as previously paid salary or as a termination payment, does not therefore count on the cap.

Humour me by listing them all out.

As I pointed out on page 8 their "original" salary cap value falls off, and there is also mention of making sure payments do not take a club over their cap limit.

If this didn't happen there is the possibility of clubs spending considerably more than the cap on players over the course of a season if they decided to get rid of some and replace them, which will all know would be against the "spirit" of the cap.
