Yes, he lacks match fitness at the moment, he's been a bit unlucky with other disruptions to the team meaning he has been in the squad, not played and missed reserves games.

We have Leeds Reserves also this week so maybe a run out for Hill and Forber in that game?

I think everyone will be looking forward to getting this and next week's game weeks out of the way.

Since the international weekend, it's all being a bit weird and disjointed. We've had injuries, extra fixtures and some real poor performances. I know the squad also got disrupted by the concerts too - moving around different gyms etc.

Must admit that I thought Peet said a week or two ago that Forber would be ready for “magic” weekend. Hopefully they are just giving him a bit more time to ensure his fitness rather than a negative reaction to his rumoured exit to Salford next year.
The loss of O’Neil is a big hole and for me Forber can play a major role in filling it.

It will be interesting to see if Tom plays in the reserves.

He is, confirmed on this weeks injury update, MP said he considered him for the bench but a game for the reserves would be better for him, hopefully he comes through unscathed and he'll be an option for next week.

Got a really bad feeling about today, Leeds are pretty awful most weeks but have had our number a few times the last few seasons when underdogs, just want a win, any win will do and no injuries or suspensions.

Smiths passing is pretty bad. Hampshire’s is even worse.

Keighran giving up chasing Rhys Martin

Has Keighran picked up an injury or going into the game with a knock? That was a pathetic attempt to catch Martin a second rower and he just gave up the ghost when there was still work left to do for them to score.

Very poor game

Walters and his awful tackling technique and a general lethargy in the team not helping our cause. I really see no point in Hampshire in our side, much prefer some faith in Farrimond who can actually pass a ball correctly.

I’m happy with the intensity.

Leeds line speed is very good and our defence is strangling Leeds.

The pass at the ruck, the pass to Keighran and the offside all involving Rocky have really hurt us.

Just as I type he’s been replaced which must be a reflection of those key errors.

Finally

This is panning out like recent previous defeats to Leeds, dominate through the middle, huff and puff on their line time and time again and they take their chances clinically. They’ve defended brilliantly and have a decent lead to hold on to, not confident we will win this.
