| Leeds will never get it right for the future until they get rid of Hetherington.
If he is still signing players rather than the coach then it's no wonder the club aren't going anywhere.

In that period after he found out that he was being replaced by George Williams he was fantastic, as is often the case with players looking for contracts. Vaeliki (???) did the same with us I seem to remember.

| Tbf, I was never a big Sezer fan, and remain reasonably confident that Cust will prove to be a better signing.

Add in another strange character in Blake Austin and it’s a halfback pairing that looks good on paper but in reality looks to be trouble.'"
Yes,this is pretty much what I think of him once Watson called time on his career you had to ask why and has he not picked up his share of injuries too?nah not for me and as for Austin he’s been in SL longer and done naff all past that first season.

Not sure that is really fair.
Watson only really went in on Sezer when he found out he was moving to Leeds.
Austin and Sezer have formed a very good partnership at Canberra in the past so I think the issues run wider deeper than these two being off form and not managing to reproduce anywhere near what they are capable of. Players who are good quality rarely become poor overnight.
If whoever bring in can introduce systems that allow these 2 to flourish then Leeds will soon shoot up the table. Agar's biggest failing is that he wasn't able to.

| And given how inept this afternoons performance is was Agar the real issue?
Lot of money spent on that team, poorly it would appear no chance they’ll get relegated but it’ll be a rough season for them

| There’s something clearly not right. Whether that’s culture, unbalanced team or simply confidence I’m not sure.
Agar, as head coach had to assume responsibility, whoever replaces him has a lot of work to do.

There used to be an idea that coaches who were screwing up royally only needed to get the push, and the new guy, whoever he happened to be, would produce a dramatic victory in his first match simply because the team were relieved the old administration was gone. I'm pretty sure Brian Noble got an epic win over Huddersfield in his first game with a Wigan team that previously had lost fixture after fixture.
But that myth was exploded today. Sad, because I have no fondness for Castleford and I quite like JJB, but it looks as though the issues at Leeds go way deeper. It may well be that time may also be up for Gary Hetherington, who is as much an employee at Headingley as Richard Agar was.
One thing is certain, we can't keep declining as a domestic game. At present, we are uninspiring across the board. A really crap Leeds would only add to that.

The whole game would be better without Hetherington.

| Leeds will pick up as soon as Myler is back in the team. Walker for as athletic as he is cannot organise a defence and his passing is pathetic. He is playing the most important position in the team and he is not up to the job.
They had enough field position and ball today to make a game of it but they continually got outnumbered down one side and opened up at will by Cas. Whilst they wont be winning trophies once they get organised they will upset a few. Whoever gets the coaches job is getting a decent job because anything will be an improvement on this season

| Leeds will get better if they get the appointment right and bring in a decent coach.
