Nobody is saying Hastings was on fire tonight, but when he is your only attacking threat it’s not surprising he gets tackled in possession.

Smith is the worst half in SL on this years form.

I’m excited it can’t be this bad again, certainly from an enjoyment point of view but I’m totally with you on tonight. I’ve never been relieved that a season is over before. I felt a weight lift off my shoulders at full time and I don’t ever recall feeling that before following a defeat.

Time to forget about rugby for a few months and that feels great at the minute.

You missed the conditioning staff off, you might be surprised at the level of incompetence in that area but cheers for the award.

How many games,.early in the season, did we win towards the end of marches? What's actually wrong with the conditioning btw? Yes, we've had a few hammy injuries but again that's down to Lam picking guys who aren't fit. He even admitted himself that he played Tommy when he was busted. What did he expect to happen from that?

Stop for a second and break if down with a cool head. Ask yourself - has Peet played a role in previously successful sides? If the answer is yes, then what's changed or what's missing and is it his fault? Does SOL need more than a season under a fraud before we write him off etc?

…more specificity his lack of game control, his error rate, his shocking passing, the fact he always loses contact and his terrible kicking game/decision making.

That Smith gets such a free ride from some worries me,he’s gone backwards at a rate of knots and in his current form shouldn’t have been anywhere near the first team I’d be is the teams attacking force next year then Wigan are in big trouble

Richardson at Cas plays better than him and that is saying something at least he is a good goal kicker.

But it ignores the stuff he does do well.

I'm not saying he's our next top HB, but if someone asked who'd been worse this year I'd be naming guys like both Leigh HB's, Kev Brown, Richardson and even Sneyd.

I just can't see how you can say that a 21 year old kid has been the worst HB this season.

No it doesn't. It does however make you put it into context and not write him the rest of his career off.

What does he do well Vs the others? He's got more assists, more attacking kicks and clean breaks.

Best thing I’ve seen him do this year is nearly get a 40-20 in the first 10 minutes today and shorty after he took the line on.

After that his kicking was awful, got dominated in contact, passing shocking etc etc etc last tackle plays embarrassing.

It's coming to something when you wished you been on a night shift, truly awful, yep, thank god it's over
