There was no cash turnstiles against Leigh, had to buy a ticket at the Ticket Office.

Yeah I got my Leigh ticket 30 mins before kick off. Once purchased they were scanning tickets at the fire doors to get into the stadium (or they were in the South anyway) rather than the turnstile entrances.

Drab affair so far between two limited teams.

We are limited in the prop department but we are being limited elsewhere due to a bad coach and bad recruitment. A win is a win but a scrappy one over a poor Salford side doesn't whet the appetite that there is more to come.

The recent wins are similar to the early season wins, aside from Leigh, we are scraping through in what can only be described as predictable rugby league. I suspect we will now see a fair few losses on the bounce.

Thought Bullock and Clubb played well in the short time they were on the pitch, both carted the ball up strongly IMO.
Looked totally disjointed in the first half, much better in the second half, Hardaker looked pretty sharp considering the time he's been off, reckon that should be him at FB for the rest of the season

Can’t pass for toffee and looked every bit a player who has probably played a handful of games at best in 18 months.

I never thought we'd lose tonight. Salford looked poor, unfit and, apart from Sarginson, had very little threat. The ref kept them in it in the 1st half with some very questionable decisions. I've never seen Powell so animated as he was when the ref gave the knock-on before HT btw.

The changes in the 2nd half showed the difference it makes playing seasoned pros in their best positions. We could gave easily scored a couple more and I don't think we scrapped home.

Poor first half from us but a decent enough second half. Hardaker looked sharp when he came on. Hastings got mom but absolutely bombed a couple of opportunities in the Second half. Harry Smith mixed a couple of really poor errors with some sublime bits of play. Field looked rusty but plenty to work with. We still look disjointed and poorly coached but you can give some leeway tonight with us having to chop and change.

We’ll need to improve out of sight on that performance but you never know.
