| I love this club.
If them keeping my season ticket money helps keep them going, that’s fine. Luckily I’m in a position too.
Also looking to sign up to the lotto and maybe pick something up from the shop.

| Quote: NickyKiss "The club shop has free postage and a sale on the kits (and other items) currently in time for Father’s Day. I’m sure they’ll be hoping plenty utilise those offers.
In the longer term they’ll probably need to get creative. I know drive in cinemas are now allowed, so I wonder if they could make money from screening games once they’re back behind closed doors. If the club could sell merchandise and food/drink with social distancing measures in place, I think it would prove popular. Season ticket holders could potentially get in for free but I’m sure plenty would still pay and even if people were to get in for free, they’d then probably spend money on other things. It would create income for the club and some atmosphere for the fans.'"
What’s the fitting like on this seasons shirts? The last shirt I got was the season before last, I ordered online for myself and my dad and I ended up taking my dads which was 2 sizes bigger than I normally wear!!!

Not sure, only got the little one a kit. Think I read this years are better, as in an XL is an XL and not like Errea we’re you started needing to go sizes up.

Yeah, one season I got an Errea one in a medium given to me that fit and the next season I was in an XXL!!!

| One way to help, if you haven’t already is to sign up for Wigan TV. It’s less than 40 quid a year. As well as having loads of good content there is no additional expenditure from the club point of view.

| What I would consider if I was part of the management team would be to extend the free ticket age for juniors from eight to nine or ten, for a couple of years at least. That way there would be more chance of their parents also renewing or even new members joining.

I’m like that after every Christmas
All jokes aside the sizes of those Errea shirts were ridiculous. I got a training top that was XL and I’d put on some timber but most of my XL shirts would be fine and have room to spare and this thing would be like a tank top sprayed on. I then lost some weight and XL tops would be quite big on me but that shirt is still on the snug side (although it does go over my belly button now).

| Im sorry but over recent times i have seen the club take a direction i do not like. I will not give my money to a club that inserts itself into non RL related social issues and i know a lot of people that feel the same way and are disgusted. I support Wigan to watch them play rugby league not to have the latest social trends forced down my throat.

In today's world social media is a BIG player, particularly with the younger fan set. Warrington are very good at it, but accept it's not to everyone's taste. You can always chose not to follow, like, subscribe?

I normally get a large and, whilst last season’s was a slightly tight fit, this season’s is bang on.
Me and the Mrs are season ticket holders and we are in the fortunate position of not needing to ask for refunds.
I have bought a shed load of merchandise from the club shop over the years, usually replica shirts, t-shirts, sweatshirts, fleeces and jackets. The quality and designs seem to be worsening year on year but I think I’ll have another look and see what I can do.

I think he means "Social Trends" such as LGBTQ and I assume BLM now as opposed to Social Media itself!
I don't do a lot of Social Media but fiends & family (Kids) who do say Wigan's content has been far better in the last 3 months or so and although it won't make any difference to me & my watching habits it will to the younger ones.
As for the "Social Trends" - It's amazing how many people don't like having it rammed down their throat when they don't agree with the cause, but don't mind it when they do agree with the cause.
As for "Don't like the direction the clubs going" - I reckon that's just another way of saying "I don't like Leneghan, I could do a better job, Hey look at me I'm not happy". maybe We should have an ELM Movement?
I mean some people have certainly done enough moaning and crying about him (And Wane) over the last 6/7 years (Seemed to start around the Gareth Hock incident) that at some point those many crumbs of evidence they pick up will amount to something that they think will be enough to get Leneghan to move on (Like they did with Wane).
Anyway
Will do another post shortly on What I think of the Letter when I've read it properly (Only scanned it last night).

| I have a lot of sympathy for supporters who are unable to put any money into the club ( thus require a refund) if they can't afford it. Lots of supporters are losing jobs and are on their s.
For those supporters who would refuse to help donate, fundraise (even offering some of their spare time up jangling a few buckets) during these unprecedented times simply because they are critical of how the club is run then I'm less sympathetic.
I bleed Wigan RL and if needs be I'm going to be there to offer my support whether it be financial or give up my time for whatever is needed. I shovelled snow off the pitch at Central Park as a teenager, I'm ready to "pull my sleeves up" for the club again if/when called. I know there are a large group of supporters would be right with me.
A life without the club would be un-imaginable.

It has nothing to do with any kind of axe to grind with IL. It has everything to do with the club jumping on bandwagons and using its position to push matters and politically motivated organisations that have nothing to do with RL. If thats what the club believes in fine, but i wont be spending any of my hard earned to support a club that does so, ask the organisations they are pushing for financial help, they have plenty of money. You only need to read the Wigan social media pages to see that there are a lot of people that are unhappy with what the club did, unless they have deleted the posts that is.

I hereby pledge 50p split between Black Lives Matter and LGBTQ causes for every post Enforcer makes between now and Wigan's next Super League game. Your message has prompted me to sign up to Wigan TV just now too
