He wasn’t great but he was light years ahead of this seasons showings. He’s helped Tautai out today because he’s one player even Wane couldn’t get much out of recently. His defence is just pure shambolic and couldn’t be classed as being professional level. How he was selected today I’ll never know.

| Bit of an overreaction towards Navarrete. Yes, it was a poor error and he's still go too many of those in him but he's had some decent games since returning to the side. He could still be useful to us throughout the year but I would have some doubts about him in the big games. It's up to him to prove that he can cut the errors out because if he does then it's a no-brainer between picking him or Tautai. I thought once again we saw why the club should be looking to get rid of him. Caught out in defence and nowhere near effective enough in attack.

| Yes, I'd dump Tautai before Navarrete, even though TT looks like he has the wherewithal to be the better player of the two. But neither are great.

20333_1393344959.gif Current thoughts - Mago out or get running up them plantations, get fit or get rid.
Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal.
Big tall strong running second rower, like a McMeekin or Sironen type back rower.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_20333.gif |

| I’ve always thought we signed Navarette on accident instead of Bousquet.
When he dropped that ball, that’s under 8s stuff.

Game changed off the missed touch off the penalty.
We had all the momentum and ball and that just handed everything on a plate to Wire, don’t think we touched the ball for the next 10 minutes.'"
He’s been woeful all season long though time and again his patented “gets put on his bum”tackle doesn’t fool the SL,which I’m sure it’s supposed to do.

Said exactly the same to a few people in the ground and on way back. That failure to find touch saw the momentum completely reversed. We also conceded the game winning penalty during that spell of Warrington possession. Had we found touch I'm sure we would have scored again and won the game.

| Of the first team forwards the only ones worth keeping for me are Bullock, Greenwood, Farrell and O'Loughlin. Those out of contract this season can all go and the rest should be moved on at the earliest opportunity. Of regular first team players only Burgess of those out of contract should we even consider keeping, and then only for the right price. If Sarginson gets another contract to play right centre, it proves we have nobody at the club with a clue about rugby.
There's a massive rebuilding job to do and we are completely knackered if Radlinski and Lenegan are in charge of it.

| It’s a rebuilding job of proportions we haven’t seen since 2006. Playing and coaching staff need clearing out and sound recruitment.
That doesn’t mean we should splash the cash - patently we don’t have it. It means recruiting the right players and coaches.
Up for release should be;
TL
Powell
TT
Navarette
Clubb
Sarginson
Isa
Though I wouldn’t be as harsh to release him, I do think SOL has reached the end of the road and ought to retire.
We’ve just seen Leeds sack Furner and the outcry that came from it. When are IL and KR going to realise that Adrian Lam isn’t the coach to take us forward?
It was our poor ball handling, discipline and defence that lost us this game today. A theme that’s carried true all season hence us being where we are. Yes there’s been injuries but that side today has beaten, and well beaten, the top SL teams time and time again. Warrington weren’t on fire by any stretch of the imagination, barely out of second gear IMHO. They were there for the taking and we didn’t take it.

| It would be ridiculous to release Leuluai or Lockers if they feel able to carry on. Both still offering plenty and apart from Hardaker I’d have given Leuluai man of the match today. He’s having a very good season.

| I thought Wigan were the better team today and it was only a few errors that prevented a much deserved victory. I really enjoyed the game and I’m enjoying the ball movement encouraged by Lam.
I’m looking forward to the next two matches against Catalans and Warrington.
I’ll be very disappointed if Lam isn’t made coach for next season.

Ridiculous to release TL? Seriously? I’ll give him his due he played well today but he’s been bang average or less all season.
As for Lockers I think he’s gone one season too long. That’s not saying he should be released, he’s earned the right to choose when to retire IMHO, but he looks an absolute shadow of the player he was in 2018.

| Thought Lockers was great today as was Tommy Leuluai. Do they have it in them to play at that level every week? Probably not, so it’s a case of weighing up if you can carry both in the squad next year. I’d hazard a guess not but I’d want one of them.

And that one will always be Lockers.

| Really don’t understand the Powell bashing.
Ok he isn’t a world class 9 but he does a cracking job for us. I would think his stats for today would be outstanding again.
In my opinion he is an integral part of the team, we just need to compliment him with a scooting style 9 like Brad Dwyer etc.
