| Depends what the team looks like by then but I wouldn’t rule us out. Let’s make no bones about it Saints are a distance in front of everyone including Wire and that would’ve been the only draw which would’ve totally ruled us out IMO.
If we can get a strong pack out you never know.

| Not too concerned about us drawing tough opposition away to be honest. On current form you would have to say we are likely to lose but the tie isn't played for four weeks so things could change for both us and Warrington by then. If we are still struggling in terms of form and injuries then and lose, then we get rest weeks later in the season to help us in the fight to stay up. If we have started to get some regular first teamers back and to pick up points in the league by then, then we would have a better chance of winning the cup tie. If we were to beat them we would be in the last 8 having removed one of the main contenders for the cup in the process, with another sure to have gone out from the Hull v Cas tie (and would presumably be in much better form on the field than we are at present).

| Anything's better than a home draw.
3000 at the DW is a pitiful sight.

| Urgh what a crap draw. On tv too, which means then office know it all will have an opinion the day after, on how poor Wigan are, how times have changed since he remembers them in the 80’s and how they ‘should’ve kept that Tomkins fella’

| Tempt them with a tenner admission fee otherwise I fear this could be a bit of a hard sell especially with it being on tv as well

| Wire fans will turn up in their droves as they do seem a better outfit than us atm.
Just as Saints fans have sold out their end for Friday. Wigan RL could have added a fiver to the North Stand prices and it would have sold out. Saints fans feel certain of a win so they're turning up as they haven't for years.
Just remember they have won one trophy in the past ten years.

True this. We’ll be covered in saw dust and wood shavings because they’re really crawling out of the woodwork for this one. I’ve even seen comments that another 75-0 could be on the cards. I don’t think for one minute they’ll get all their own way and love to upset the odds in this one.

3076_1671446335.jpg SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS
For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.
For 27 - 0 you get a trophy
For 75 - 0 you get sod all.
Wigan had eight in a row
Saints have five in a row:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_3076.jpg |

When did Wigan R.L ever have 3,000 for a home game at the DW?

3790 v Halton Simms Cross and 3814 v Whitehaven when we scored 100 points. Although if you ask around there was 45,000 on for that one.
