Most of this board thought Lenegan was a master tactician. I posted the craziness of it all months ago and got verbally abused for it. Same with my suggestion that given our circumstances we should of called off the WCC this year and focused on the season ahead. I could see how difficult it was going to be without the distraction of the WCC and the low that would come after what was always certain defeat. |

Stop changing the goalposts. You thought we were going to be embarrassed and we weren't. Stop trying to justify it with opportunistic claptrap like this. Would you like me to copy and paste your original post where you go into great detail about how you think we'll have a poor start to the season... Not! |

You seem to be unable to read.
In my second line i point out why we should of pulled out and it is directly related to the need for us to concentrate on the season ahead if you expand your thinking, all of what i said is related to a bigger picture.

not sure why people think it's such a bad idea , you've lost a hefty part of the team and a coach , if you want Edwards then you pretty much had to have an interim coach , Lam is a good choice , who else would you have for a short period ? unless you rule Edwards out you aren't going to entice a big name coach , besides its a squad that need rebuilding , you can't win every year . I can't see things being much different if Wane would have stayed.
Only thing that confuses me is how on earth did Wgan break the cap ? There squad doesn't look like a cap breaking one , for me though the cap needs to go , its killing the game . |

The cap breach was in 2017 when we still had Sam Tomkins on marquee money, Joel Tomkins, McIlorum, Nuausala etc. |
