I think that I read on the other forum that ZH had a success rate of low 60%'s which for me is far too low for a first choice goal kicker.
Also without being negative there is possibility that ZH won't be a first team regular.
I am hoping that Woods or Street can kick on but next season may be a season too soon for both of them.

There is also a chance he will never play a single game for us in SL, two and a half months is a long time when you're struggling to stay on the straight and narrow, specially with the silly season and new year thrown in as well

| Hardaker was pretty dire kicking goals at Leeds so I don’t see him as a viable option. I’ve always like the looks of Williams kicking as he seems to have good technique but his confidence looks brittle at the best of times.
In an ideal world we’ll get the seven we need and he’ll be able to kick goals at above 75%.

| Escare kicked 6/6 at the weekend, haven't seen the match so they might all have been bang in front.

From what I am hearing locally regarding behaviour and attitude to certain conditions put on him by the club since his driving ban, I think there are still quite a few hurdles still to negotiate before Hardaker ever wears a Wigan jersey in a competitive match.

Seems that way sadly.
He may be a cracking player but his continuous off field antics and persona do our club no good at all.

| Maybe it's another reason why we haven't announced any off season signings? I suspect Edwards has a shopping list as well, so we may tread water for a season.

Unlikely to start though isn't he, until Hardaker screws up at least.....

| Well, we'd better identify someone PDQ now that the RFL have decided that "Golden Points" are now part of the regular games & not just the CC.
Completely barm-pot decision - i think i understand the rationale, but I'm not sure most people's stress levels will cope. Certainly in the west wing, with the various dicky tickers, I can see people dropping like flies. Will they be prescribing valium from the pie shop?

There were a grand total of four draws last year, none of which involved us, not too bothered about this to be honest.

Seems like a rule made for the sake of making people think Red Hall are actually in charge, instead of just making it up as they go along.

However, a number of electrons were mildly inconvenienced.

| I still think that it should be 1 point to both teams, plus the extra point for the golden point.
Playing to a draw and then losing the point, possibly without ever touching the ball in Extra Time, would be gutting - Especially for the teams at either the top or the bottom of the league table

According to Bilko on twitter this is exactly what happened to HKR in the 2016 million pound game. Lost the game without ever having possession in the extra time so a coin toss decided the result. Idiotic.
