There's your problem in a nutshell. Endless numbers of quality players and coaches at Leigh have been let down when the people of Leigh have failed to turn up.

To be given use of a hi-tech stadium like the LSV and the locals still not to turn up is appalling.

The fault lies with no one but Leythers themselves.

It's a pain in the to get the train to Leigh, Saint's just get the bus up the Lancs.

We're 2nd in the league at the business end of the season, and Leigh look like they won't even make the qualifiers. Not too interested in kicking them when they're going through a tough time to be honest. One less team with SL ambitions is bad for the game.

No. At kick-off, Leigh were in a position where they could get into the top 4 with a big win against Sheffield and a defeat for either London or Halifax.

The fact that the Chairman had chucked the towel in, the players laboured to a scrappy win and the public couldn't be ar$ed to turn out and support their club tell everyone that they don't deserve a club at all.

And the odds on those defeats were what exactly - we knew exactly what the situation was

What was Halifax's crowd the week before against Toulouse - now that was a must win game, do there fans not deserve a club, or London, Fev, Batley etc etc etc or are you to far up your ivory towers to see what's going on below you

I was impressed by your loud support regardless of numbers, it was a great atmosphere and Leigh were terrific in that second half.

Regardless of local rivalry I get no pleasure from seeing Leigh struggle and wish you Club all the best for the future.

The spirit show against Sheffield is a good sign.

It was really sad to see Leigh go from superleague last season and even sadder to think they may not be back anytime soon. That rivalry between us is good and I certainly look forward to those fixtures more then I do a Huddersfield or Wakefield fixture for example.

I’ve no sympathy for Beaumont. The bloke lacks class and he always seemed the sort who’d run for the hills. I just hope there’s somebody else out there with a real passion for Leigh who has the funds to take them forward.
