Looks like today is the day the season completely unravels after a bad couple of weeks on and off the field. I love being a fan, i love meeting fans of other teams and having the banter etc but incidents like this are why we are so hated, the opposition fans will be licking their lips about this one. People hate us because we have been successful, that is natural but things like this damage the image of the club and needs sorting this weekend. Not Monday. IL and KR need a summit meeting tonight and get them both in tomorrow and give them their marching orders. This is gross misconduct for bringing the club into disrepute. We cannot tolerate this. How many of our players have got off in recent years. I said it at the time of both incidents, I would have sacked both Flower and Bateman and i still would have no matter who they are. Now these two clowns go and pull a stunt like this. We need to be seen that we are a club not to be accepting things like this. Joel nearly got sacked before he played for us after re-signing for fighting up town amongst other things and Sam is just a clown full stop, i can reel of a list of incidents involving him. Show them the door. Wane can resign early and we can start to rebuild now rather than next season. Time to act Wigan.

When the hell is that from? Didn't think Sam did too much wrong..perhaps could have been a bit more persuasive to leave and do them both a favour. Absolutely deplorable from Joel. Seen a few people defending him and lambasting the filming. If they weren't misbehaving they wouldn't be getting filmed or it certainly wouldn't be trending.

Not sure when it's from because Joel had a skinhead today, but it's easily feasible it was this week. Takes 10 minutes to have your head shaved. If that is true, not saying it isn’t, then you have to question the leadership at the club.

Culture is so important, excusing behaviour like this sends a message to everyone at the club and highlights how poor the culture is.

If the decision makers at the club are clever, they launch an investigation and quickly resolve this matter by terminating the contracts of Joel and Sam Tomkins for breaching their contracts by bringing the club into disrepute.

The cynic in me says that Sam is already off at the end of the season anyway and Joel is nowhere near the player he once was. Easy PR win whilst saving some money on the books and not significantly reducing the quality of the team.

You are of course right but I would go further. If the club knew about this I would be disgusted that they haven't already taken the only course of action available to them.

But they might not have seen the video though. They may have heard about it. If the girl had sent the video to the club and they REALLY wanted to sweep it under the carpet they would have paid her to delete it im sure. That's what i would do and pretty sure the club would have thought of that if they knew and wanted to hide it. If nobody had seen the video then this put's a completely different spin on it. Although Albert Kelly reprimand for his shocking abuse of the girl in McDonald's got him a new contract! so you never know. Also, people from the club read these boards, they will see the reaction of the fans and what we think and will know how we want it dealt with. Phil Clarke admitted on the podcast that he reads them.
