To be fair, SW did state that we had modified our attacking structures to play Saints but lost the key player, Sam, just before the match and Escare hadn't trained in the FB role due to illness so all the hard work was lost. Will be interesting to watch the return match.

I’m fairly certain we beat Hull in Wollongong? The wire result could be expected after the flight 4 days earlier and we lost by 3 points to Saints after serious disruption. We played very well against Saints, just got beat by the league leaders at their home! I can live with that and am confident from what I’ve seen that we don’t need to fear anybody in this league. Leeds and Cas will be 2 very good tests of where we are in terms of progress.
