Got a few DVDs and fridge magnets from the past few years now, 2 from April alone

| Sh*t performance from Wigan, good performance from Cas. We had lots of injuries blah blah blah, not really that fussed to be honest. Wire beat us twice in the regular season last year just as Cas have this year and we all know how last season ended up. It might not end up being the same finish, but its something worth remembering so Cas fans, enjoy your win and enjoy you're brilliant performances, but don't forget lads, we are only in April.

| It's easy to say, we'll be there at the business end of the season, Cas may fade away, you don't win owt in April, etc etc...
All that may be true, but I don't take much consolation from that. Cas were very good, but they were massively helped by that lame effort. Some of their tries were embarrassingly soft. And when we did get possession close to their line, as we did a fair bit in the first half, they handled our predictable attacking efforts with ease.
I didn't expect a win against a strong Cas side, but I did expect a determined and competitive effort, and that certainly wasn't it.

| I stood all the way through that game next to a group of Cas supporters and had to listen to every comment. The problem was our performance was so bad that I had nothing to say. I have never seen us give up so easily.
We started badly. Did Cas spot a problem with Gelling in warm up because the first thing that they did was to target him? With hindsight we needed Forsyth out there today. When they got the ball the pitch looked a hundred yards wide and about thirty yards wide when we had it. Our forwards looked slow and were easily dominated. The youngest lads on the field were the ones who showed spirit. Marshall looked solid and made some yards.
When we tried to emulate Castleford and throw the ball around we looked terrible. I had expected us to play a tight, high intensity game and keep pounding, what we actually did was to run through our patterns at about 80% and get dominated in every area. I have never seen the opposition making so many easy yards in the middle. We had so many bodies in the floor around the play the ball that the wingers were trying to mark two or three all the time. Escare tried to take the line on but there was so little motion behind him that the Cas defenders easily picked him off.
The England players for us were absent most of the game. We can make excuses but by the time we were down to no fit subs we were well beaten.
Next game we could well be without Flower, Mikey Mac and Gelling as well as the England players, Escare could pick up a ban for his high tackle. Just the kind of backs to the wall scenario we all love.

| I stood with a group of Wigan supporters last night, and could I say that they were gentlemen. Good conversation and handshakes at the end. Thanks.

| No room in the stand last night so had to go to the terraces as usual good bit of fun with the Cas fans always fun to go there.
Beaten by a much better side Wigan simply didn't want to know and if we are honest it was over by the time the second try went in they simply had nothing to offer.
Bad performance I can take but one with zero interest seemingly from the players is unacceptable

| A collective bad day at the office from your guys meeting a side who's scored plenty at home so far this season. No doubt you will be around at the business end of the season.
Really wasn't going to be your day when one of your own supporters light a red smoke bomb after your try and put off Escare's attempted conversion

Total numpties whoevers doing that.
They must have felt as red in the face as the colour of their flare at the end of the game.

Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_10174.png |

| Cas raped us in the Super 8's last year, 2 months later we all know what happened. I maintain that Hull are the biggest threat to Wigan maintaining our title (no disrespect to Cas) and we'll see in 6 months time. We'll be reet.

| You'd have to say that Cas, Hull and Leeds are all in better shape than Wigan. We need a lucky draw in the Cup if we beat Swinton. I wouldn't fancy any of those three in the quarters.
