| Quote: NickyKiss "The Wire fans seem to think Smith has all but ruled Sandow out. There's a bit of talk knocking about that he may well be off at the end of the year.
It seems a long time ago since that game at the DW when for 25 minutes he was majestic. He got injured that night and it was the start of the end of his season.'"
Cant think of any NRL team that would want Sandow (presuming that is where he would go) The Knights have signed Walsh but everybody else has a better 7 than Sandow.

| NRL teams might well not want Sandow, but I don't think that's because "everybody else has a better 7".
He has the ability, but there's more to it than that.

Somebody mentioned on the Wire board that he's been knocking around with some unsavoury characters around the Boozers of Warrington.

| Yeah, I know there's been talk. I was just saying, on the pitch, if he puts his mind to it, he's a class act, and plenty good enough for the NRL. I must admit, I did think, a couple of successful years at Wire might see him go back to the NRL ( look at Soliola running around at the Raiders like a teenager, still playing great footy), but it doesn't look like it's going to pan out that way.

I was informed last week by an old Warrington supporter friend of mine that Sandow would never play for the Wire again.

However, a number of electrons were mildly inconvenienced.

| I won't be happy that we have both of our wingers available until the disciplinary committee sits today.
I wonder if Lewis could pick up a ban?
Not sure if anyone else noticed, amongst all the celebration, but when Sam Powell went in for his try, Lewis came running acroos to celebrate, jumped across the front of the ref and placed his hand on Hicks' shoulder when he jumped.
We've all seen bans for similar touches on match officials this year.
Hope I'm being paranoid, but it wouldn't surprise me if we only had 1 winger next weekend.

| There's absolutely no way Tierney will get a ban for that in GF week. At the very most it'll be an EGP and fine.

| OK.
Not even sent for review.
The only one of ours that was reviewed was Oli Gildart, for lifting the leg, but there was not a single charge for anyone this week. (Maybe the committee is winding down for the season).

| I expect us (Wire) to field the same 17 as last week but with Bailey coming in for Philbin.
I personally would like to see Dwyer in for Smith and I can see either that happening or Sandow coming in on the bench.
Sandow can't be match fit, but could do a good job in a similar fashion as you guys think Lockers could.
